Remix Design Co.This dysfunctional kitchen was in need of an update to increase both function and style. By moving some key elements, we were able to add a lot of additional counter space. We also solved a lack of natural light by adding three large skylights. The natural stone quartzite countertops are the star of this kitchen and we ran them up the backsplash for a clean look that really makes a statement.
Chalkhouse KitchensBeautiful In-frame Shaker kitchen in a fabulous triple vaulted extension. Main cabinets are painted in Little Green Paint Company Slaked Lime Dark contrasting with LGPC Invisible Green on the enormous island. A vented gas hob from Elica gives the perfect cooking of gas but with the extractor built into it to avoid an ugly ceiling hood. Touches of brass in the lighting and on the Corston handles add real warmth to the room.

Pearl RemodelingWe upgraded this 380 sq. Koreatown condo with a modern style and features. To begin with, the kitchen has new semi-glossy beige/green flat panel cabinets. We installed premium quality Bosch appliances including an electric stovetop, range hood, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen has a beautiful stone countertop, deep stainless steel sink, matte black faucet, and bar countertop. The bedroom/living room space of the condo received a new fresh coat of paint, base modeling, a new rectangular Milgard window, and a new ductless A/C. The gorgeous bathroom received a major upgrade with a large LED mirror vanity, a floating wood vanity, stone countertop with a deep drop-in sink. For the bathroom, we installed a high-tech one-piece toilet, a new shower enclosure with 3/8 tempered glass, a dual shower head system with a waterfall head and handheld sprayer, a custom shower niche, and beautiful stone tiles. We installed 15 recessed lights, replaced the 100 AMP sub panel, new circuits, 20 outlets, and new exhaust vents.

The initial contact came via a referral from a previous client... who was also in the very select SCOOP owners club! It is always very exciting for me when clients choose a SCOOP kitchen... as literally 98% of our kitchens are in our handle-less naturalSHEER or minimalSHEER styles! We instantly hit IT off with these lovely clients and after a few liveDESIGN sessions, we had the layout and spec' nailed down for the amazing new space they planned to create.
The Details...
This kitchen is our fabulous SCOOP model... which is defined by a characterful SCOOP OUT behind each of the handles.
These cheeky SCOOPS add instant appeal... they somehow bring to mind an early Mini Cooper and have a really happy vibe about them.
Not only do they look great, they actually make the handle easier to grasp - so it's a win-win (if handles are your thing)!
The cabinets themselves are finished in Waterwheel Light Blue - which for some strange reason has been the choice of colour for nearly all of SCOOP kitchens we have built over the last 12 years or so!
The blue tones work really well with Mont Blanc quartz tops (Caesarstone) and the Porcelain floor tiles (supplied by Tomas). The cool blend is warmed up with elements of oak found in the Arcadia Shelving and elsewhere.
Appliances are by Miele, Fisher & Paykel, Liebherr and Bora.
The mood becomes more sombre, as the kitchen gives way to the dining area... here bespoke hand-painted cabinets were created with detailing to match the existing fire surround.
At the other end a really cheerful media wall was created to provide oodles of storage.

One Source ContractingThis beautiful open concept kitchen and dining room area features white inset cabinetry, Wolf appliances, a honed Bohemian Gray Granite countertop, custom hood cover, gold lighting details and a full porcelain backsplash. This home retained it's Baltimore city charm whilst opening up the space by removing a wall separating the kitchen and dining room and refinishing the hardwood floors.
