Carved Custom CabinetsThis Spanish colonial panel style from carvedcabinet.com (Carved Custom Cabinets) was inspired by a 200 year old, small, hand carved trunk on legs displayed in the Museum of New Mexico. It was found in a village north of Santa Fe. The trim surrounding the panels was inspired by a book on the history of woodworking in New Mexico. Finished in a honey (Miel) with dark glaze to bring out the carving and medium distressing.
Leanne Michael L U X E lifestyle designItalian farmhouse custom kitchen complete with hand carved wood details, flush marble island and quartz counter surfaces, faux finish cabinetry, clay ceiling and wall details, wolf, subzero and Miele appliances and custom light fixtures.
DEW Design CompanyThe original stained glass window nestles behind a farmhouse sink, traditional faucet, and bold cabinetry. Little green accent lighting and glassware echo the window colors. Dark walnut knobs and butcherblock countertops create usable surfaces in this chef's kitchen.

NEVA Architecture Intérieure - Interior DesignLa superbe cuisine, qui fut très compliquée à réaliser. Vous ne le soupçonnez pas, mais derrière cette crédence, une partie amovible cache le ballon d'eau chaude, et le plan de travail cache le lave-linge avec une ouverture par le haut.
Beaucoup d'ajustements et de sur-mesure à cause de ce mur en pente que nous ne pouvions pas toucher.
Mais surtout le clou du spectacle: ces magnifiques carreaux zelliges bleu pétrole, assortis à un plan de travail en bois exotique, qui rappellent le bleu du salon.

Mon Concept HabitationLe défi de la rénovation de ce petit deux pièces était de créer un appartement fonctionnel, en ayant l’illusion d’avoir poussé les murs ! La salle de bain a été déplacée dans la grande chambre pour libérer de l’espace dans l’entrée et créer de nouveaux rangements. Nous avons supprimé la cloison entre l’entrée et le séjour pour apporter une impression de grandeur et ouvrir l’espace. D’autres rangements astucieux ont pris place dans la cuisine et la chambre.
Le fil conducteur de cette rénovation est l’association des tons jaune doré et rose. On les retrouve notamment dans la décoration du séjour et dans le choix des matériaux des autres pièces. Un papier peint aux reflets dorés avec un dressing sur mesure rose pastel dans la chambre et dans la salle de bain, la robinetterie en laiton brossé est associée avec un meuble vasque rose poudré et un carrelage en écailles.
Un résultat féminin et féérique qu’on adore !
Sheffield Sustainable KitchensWe designed this cosy grey family kitchen with reclaimed timber and elegant brass finishes, to work better with our clients’ style of living. We created this new space by knocking down an internal wall, to greatly improve the flow between the two rooms.
Our clients came to us with the vision of creating a better functioning kitchen with more storage for their growing family. We were challenged to design a more cost-effective space after the clients received some architectural plans which they thought were unnecessary. Storage and open space were at the forefront of this design.
Previously, this space was two rooms, separated by a wall. We knocked through to open up the kitchen and create a more communal family living area. Additionally, we knocked through into the area under the stairs to make room for an integrated fridge freezer.
The kitchen features reclaimed iroko timber throughout. The wood is reclaimed from old school lab benches, with the graffiti sanded away to reveal the beautiful grain underneath. It’s exciting when a kitchen has a story to tell. This unique timber unites the two zones, and is seen in the worktops, homework desk and shelving.
Our clients had two growing children and wanted a space for them to sit and do their homework. As a result of the lack of space in the previous room, we designed a homework bench to fit between two bespoke units. Due to lockdown, the clients children had spent most of the year in the dining room completing their school work. They lacked space and had limited storage for the children’s belongings. By creating a homework bench, we gave the family back their dining area, and the units on either side are valuable storage space. Additionally, the clients are now able to help their children with their work whilst cooking at the same time. This is a hugely important benefit of this multi-functional space.
The beautiful tiled splashback is the focal point of the kitchen. The combination of the teal and vibrant yellow into the muted colour palette brightens the room and ties together all of the brass accessories. Golden tones combined with the dark timber give the kitchen a cosy ambiance, creating a relaxing family space.
The end result is a beautiful new family kitchen-diner. The transformation made by knocking through has been enormous, with the reclaimed timber and elegant brass elements the stars of the kitchen. We hope that it will provide the family with a warm and homely space for many years to come.

Maurine Bellier - Architecte d’intérieurProjet de conception et rénovation d'une petite cuisine et entrée.
Tout l'enjeu de ce projet était de créer une transition entre les différents espaces.
Nous avons usé d'astuces pour permettre l'installation d'un meuble d'entrée, d'un plan snack tout en créant une harmonie générale sans cloisonner ni compromettre la circulation. Les zones sont définies grâce à l'association de deux carrelages au sol et grâce à la pose de claustras en bois massif créant un fil conducteur.
Authenticity, LLCArchitect: Michelle Penn, AIA Reminiscent of a farmhouse with simple lines and color, but yet a modern look influenced by the homeowner's Danish roots. This very compact home uses passive green building techniques. It is also wheelchair accessible and includes a elevator. We included an area to hang hats and jackets when coming in from the garage. The lower one works perfectly from a wheelchair. The owner loves to prep for meals so we designed a lower counter area for a wheelchair to simply pull up. Photo Credit: Dave Thiel

Chi Renovation & DesignThe penny wall was inspired by the client’s relationship with her father who passed away several years ago. Her father collected dimes during his life-time and whenever she found a dime after he passed she felt like he was saying hello to her. The entire wall behind the range is covered with antique pennies but there is one dime that she found as a tribute to her father.
