A newly connected hallway leading to the master suite had the added benefit of a new laundry closet squeezed in; the original home had a cramped closet in the kitchen downstairs. The space was made efficient with a countertop for folding, a hanging drying rack and cabinet for storage. All is concealed by a traditional barn door, and lit by a new expansive window opposite.
Coles Fine FlooringVinyl plank flooring is a great flooring option for a laundry room because it's super durable and water resistant.
Cummings Architecture + InteriorsThe new laundry room on the ground floor services the family of seven. Beige paint, white cabinets, two side by side units, and a large utility sink help get the job done. Wide plank pine flooring continues from the kitchen into the space. The space is made more feminine with red painted chevron wallpaper.

Hill Farm Furniture LtdThis large kitchen in a converted schoolhouse needed an unusual approach. The owners wanted an eclectic look – using a diverse range of styles, shapes, sizes, colours and finishes.
The final result speaks for itself – an amazing, quirky and edgy design. From the black sink unit with its ornate mouldings to the oak and beech butcher’s block, from the blue and cream solid wood cupboards with a mix of granite and wooden worktops to the more subtle free-standing furniture in the utility.

Denise BigginsA simple metal drying rack acts as a great space saver for our narrow room. It folds up flat to the wall when not in use. The vintage basket adds warmth and is a nod to the farmhouse decor.

BP Kitchens & InteriorsThis kitchen used an in-frame design with mainly one painted colour, that being the Farrow & Ball Old White. This was accented with natural oak on the island unit pillars and on the bespoke cooker hood canopy. The Island unit features slide away tray storage on one side with tongue and grove panelling most of the way round. All of the Cupboard internals in this kitchen where clad in a Birch veneer.
The main Focus of the kitchen was a Mercury Range Cooker in Blueberry. Above the Mercury cooker was a bespoke hood canopy designed to be at the correct height in a very low ceiling room. The sink and tap where from Franke, the sink being a VBK 720 twin bowl ceramic sink and a Franke Venician tap in chrome.
The whole kitchen was topped of in a beautiful granite called Ivory Fantasy in a 30mm thickness with pencil round edge profile.
