Prep & PaintThis was another fun project!
All three surfaces/sides of the planks are stained in the selected gray stain colour prior to installation.
One coat did the trick overall, yet due to the milling process a few boards received a second coating or a touch-up here and there.
The challenge is to clear an open area to allow the stain to dry over-night while keeping the planks separate of each one. No Smudging!

The far door leads to the bedroom, and the close barn door to a large storage closet.

UserThis basement got a total overhaul and we are so happy with the results. We utilized the original foundation rock wall (cleaned and repointed) and added a craftsman style railing and handmade sliding barn doors with beefy bronze hardware.

La Marco HomesLa Marco Homes installed a beautiful walkout living area with stone fireplace as well as a stylish oak-beamed bar and wine room in this Bloomfield basement.
Rudloff Custom BuildersThis farmhouse style home was already lovely and inviting. We just added some finishing touches in the kitchen and expanded and enhanced the basement. In the kitchen we enlarged the center island so that it is now five-feet-wide. We rebuilt the sides, added the cross-back, “x”, design to each end and installed new fixtures. We also installed new counters and painted all the cabinetry. Already the center of the home’s everyday living and entertaining, there’s now even more space for gathering. We expanded the already finished basement to include a main room with kitchenet, a multi-purpose/guestroom with a murphy bed, full bathroom, and a home theatre. The COREtec vinyl flooring is waterproof and strong enough to take the beating of everyday use. In the main room, the ship lap walls and farmhouse lantern lighting coordinates beautifully with the vintage farmhouse tuxedo bathroom. Who needs to go out to the movies with a home theatre like this one? With tiered seating for six, featuring reclining chair on platforms, tray ceiling lighting and theatre sconces, this is the perfect spot for family movie night!

D&G ConstructionThis beautiful basement has gray walls with medium sized white trim. The flooring is nylon carpet in a speckled white coloring. The windows have a white frame with a medium sized, white, wooden window sill. The wet bar has white recessed panels with black metallic handles. In between the two cabinets is a stainless steel drink cooler. The countertop is a white, quartz fitted with an undermounted sink equipped with a stainless steel faucet. Above the wet bar are two white, wooden cabinets with glass recessed panels and black metallic handles. Connecting the two upper cabinets are two wooden, floating shelves with a dark brown stain. The wet bar backsplash is a white and gray ceramic tile laid in a mosaic style that runs up the wall between the cabinets.
