Copper DustAs you step into the newly designed Library, you'll notice the floor to ceiling storage that lines the walls. The adjustable shelving offers an excellent storage solution for books of all sizes, ensuring that no book is left without a home. The motion sensor lighting lights up the room as you move around, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The room has a welcoming and cosy atmosphere, perfect for browsing.

Fukuro DesignsMinimalistic design for home office. Project requirements included pastel pink and blue colours, black fittings, long desk with enough space for printer, laptop and any documents. White magnetic board gives additional space for notes. For the floor I went with vinyl wood panels to bring extra warmth and provide additional soundproofing.

Studio PercalePreviously an unused store room, we converted the space into a home office for our client ensuring it was a warm, happy and inviting space to work in. Soane Britain Seaweed Lace wallpaper lines the walls, traditional plaster cornice and tall timber skirtings were reinstated to bring back the character of the room. New cast iron radiator in pink to match the woodwork installed. Pure wool cream carpet for warmth underfoot. Bespoke oak desk lines the perimeter of the walls with bobbin turned legs and bespoke shelves built into a recess in the wall provide ample storage and work surface for a comfortable office
Rasmus BlaesbjergA little over a year ago my retaining wall collapsed by the entrance to my house bringing down several tons of soil on to my property. Not exactly my finest hour but I was determined to see as an opportunity to redesign the entry way that I have been less than happy with since I got the house.
I wanted to build a structure together with a new wall I quickly learned it required foundation with cement caissons drilled all the way down to the bedrock. It also required 16 ft setbacks from the hillside. Neither was an option for me.
After much head scratching I found the shed building ordinance that is the same for the hills that it is for the flatlands. The basics of it is that everything less than 120 ft, has no plumbing and with electrical you can unplug is considered a 'Shed' in the City of Los Angeles.
A shed it is then.
This is lead me the excellent high-end prefab shed builders called Studio Shed. I combined their structure with luxury vinyl flooring from Amtico and the 606 Universal Shelving System from Vitsoe. All the interior I did myself with my power army called mom and dad.
I'm rather pleased with the result which has been dubbed the 'SheShed'

The blush works so magically with the charcoal grey on the walls and the furnishings stand up to the burly workbench which takes pride of place in the room. The blush doubles down and acts as a feminine edge on an otherwise very masculine room. The addition of greenery and gold accents on frames, plant stands and the mirror help that along and also lighten and soften the whole space.
