Florian Ophoff I Architektur & MöbeldesignDas Arbeitszimmer ist eigentlich ein Multifunktionsraum in dem die Hausherrin neben Ihrem Arbeitsplatz auch noch Ihren Kleiderschrank und eine Fernsehecke hat.
Alle Möbel sind so konzipiert, dass sie eine leichte Anmutung haben obwohl sie aus Massivholz gefertigt sind. Dies wird durch überfälzte Fronten erreicht, die dafür sorgen dass nur ein Drittel der Korpuskanten zu sehen sind. Zudem sind die Massivholzfronten durch eingefräste Gratleisten aus schwarz lackiertem Aluminium gegen Verwerfung gesichert. Somit haben wir eine Symbiose aus traditionellen bewehrten Handwerkstechniken und modernem minimalistischen Design. Alle 3 Möbel sind aus europäischen Ahorn gefertig. Die Oberflächen sind gebleicht um einer Vergilbung entgegenzuwirken und anschliessend geölt.

Aesthetically, we wanted this office to feel peaceful and light to soothe a stressed mind. The result is a soft and feminine, yet highly organized study to encourage focus and a state of serenity.

J. Stephens InteriorsA classical home library was created using custom walnut cabinetry. This photo features the roman shades that are in an ikat-patterned fabric by Corraigio. The custom lighting designed with a movable arm and brass frame has a custom shade in green silk. The lining of the shade is done in a pale grey. Inside each niche sits a regla ottoman done in a green silk velvet wiht pale gold trim. The ottomans can be broght out to use as addtional seating either at the desk or in the living room

UserFor this bright home office, our task was to incorporate a lot of storage and allow for the space to be used as a guest bedroom. Figuring out the right furniture proportions and placement was a challenge in this small space. We landed on a custom upholstered futon that can double as office seating and a guest bed for two. Custom upholstery and pillows, textured wallpaper and lots of built-in bookshelves make this office feel clean and open. We mixed and matched modern and traditional light fixtures and incorporated a lot of decorative accessories from the owners personal collection.

besondere Relevanz hatte die Möglichkeit sich zurück zu ziehen um zu arbeiten oder zu entspannen. Nicht zu sehen, ist der Hochsitz, welcher rechter Hand mit einer Leitet versehen wurde um dort gegebenenfalls Gäste nächtigen zu lassen.
Der Blick direkt in den Garten des Hauses konkurriert stark mit dem der Inneneinrichtung...

TOMHILL STUDIOBuilt-in storage in this Home Office was designed without exposed hardware to maintain the clean overall aesthetic. The cabinets hide all of the unsightly supplies one needs in a work space, and keeps the space organized. The historic neighborhood required period-correct windows, however the trim was kept minimal and modern to relate to the built-in details. Bleached ash floors, white plaster walls, and the opaque glass sliding doors make for a serene work day. And who doesn't want that?!
