A Joyce Design, Inc.This mid-century custom home had always intrigued me, so I was thrilled when asked by the homeowners to help to renovate their kitchen, master bath as well as three other bathrooms. Having a true sense of the home's essence and history, they were not afraid to use exotic and precious finishes to highlight its uniqueness. All doorknob sets and faucet sets are by Sherle Wagner and carefully selected by the homeowners to be unique to each space.
Transition I SpaceA dining pavilion that floats in the water on the city side of the house and floats in air on the rural side of the house. There is waterfall that runs under the house connecting the orthogonal pond on the city side with the free form pond on the rural side.
Atelier SénicLe nouvel aménagement a permis de créer une penderie (porte miroir à proximité de la porte d'entrée) ainsi qu'un banc de rangement pour les chaussures du quotidien et un vide poche. Les sols de l'entrée et de la cuisine ont été unifiés et remplacés par une imitation de carreaux ciment dans l'esprit rétro de cette maison en meulière.
Reverse ArchitectureA custom-designed credenza floats on the wall in front of the entry. Its form compliments the curved counters of the kitchen. The outer ribbon is painted with a semi-gloss white finish while the small cabinet within is white oak with a clear varnish.

Copper Sky Design + RemodelThe iron doors and copper gas fixtures bring custom character and add yet another layer of interest.
Ethos InteriorsThe matt black accents continue inside the home, with a simple contemporary console and feature light. Pops of colour are created with unique accessories and abstract art.
ColorWhiz Architectural Color ConsultingAt the entry, visitors are welcomed onto a porcelain tile landing that reads as natural slate, like the actual natural slate on the nearby fireplace. This product won't chip, fracture, cleave -- or accidentally catch on bare feet!
