Altura ArchitectsThis mountain modern cabin outside of Asheville serves as a simple retreat for our clients. They are passionate about fly-fishing, so when they found property with a designated trout stream, it was a natural fit. We developed a design that allows them to experience both views and sounds of the creek and a relaxed style for the cabin - a counterpoint to their full-time residence.
Monaco InteriorsThis space is open to the kitchen and consists of an eating area and small den. The change was quite dramatic. The space is now bright and airy, yet cozy and warm. The sculptured chairs, iron table and stunning chandelier tie the space together while stunning artwork adds interest and, in some cases, whimsy. I just love this space.
Project GuruBuilt-n cabinetry flank the double pocket door to the den and is open to the kitchen and the large deck via a folding door system.Expandable glass table allows for seating for 10, bar seating for 1 at breakfast bar. Luxury vinyl plan border detail around carpet.

down2earth Interior Design, LLC.When down2earth interior design was called upon to redesign this Queen Village row house, we knew that a complete overhaul to the plan was necessary. The kitchen, originally in the back of the house, had an unusable fireplace taking up valuable space, a terrible workflow, and cabinets and counters that had seen better days. The dining room and family room were one open space without definition or character.
The solution: reorganize the entire first floor. The dining area, with its deep blue walls and capiz chandelier, provides an immediate sense of place when you first walk into the home, and there is space for entryway items immediately next to the door.

Studio TransparenteMarta Guillem El proyecto consistía en convertir un refugio de cazadores en una bonita casa de campo. La propiedad pertenecía a los abuelos de nuestros clientes, situada en la cima de una montaña, convertía el lugar en un sitio privilegiado por sus vistas al mar en los días claros, su hermosa vegetación y su privacidad al no tener vecinos en un par de kilómetros.
Las premisas que se nos plantearon a la hora de realizar el proyecto es la de convertir el espacio en un lugar de descanso, de relax, para desconectar del estrés de la ciudad, un espacio de calma para compartir unos buenos momentos junto a su familia y a sus amigos. El presupuesto debía ser mínimo, no se debía modificar nada de la estructura ni del exterior, la zonificación debía constar de una habitación de matrimonio, una cocina, una zona de comer y una zona chill out cerca de la chimenea.
