Milward TeveriniSubtle and beautiful dining room in Grade II listed property.
Painted in chalky Farrow and Ball colours to make the best of the panelling details, with a subtle grey oak floor. The scheme is accented with a large feature convex mirror above the fireplace and green detailing in the fabric and curtain border.
RealCraftThis dining room features a fusion of mid-century modern style with an industrial touch. The sliding door was constructed from a decades-old steel casement factory window that was found at a salvage yard. Real Sliding Hardware's Box Rail Barn Door Hardware was used to mount the door.
Flooret Influenced by classic Nordic design. Surprisingly flexible with furnishings. Amplify by continuing the clean modern aesthetic, or punctuate with statement pieces. The dining table is attributed to Milo Baughman, circa 1960. Mid-century Modern chairs. Antique Japanese tansu. Pipe chandelier by Sharon Holmin Interiors. Vintage red rug. Brass console with Thai puppets and African bowl. Wallpaper is "Pastel Horizons" textured woven wallpaper by Sharon Holmin Interiors. Tami Smight InteriorsThis nook was boring before we dressed the windows with three layers. 1. A functional Duette shade hides behind the 2. Linen Roman Shade valance which are flanked by 3. Linen stationary drapery panels. The finished result really makes the nook a lovely focal point.
We Got LitesDuring the mid-eighteenth century, the Georgian style became immensely popular, not only in England, but also in Colonial America. The "Colonial" home was influenced by the Georgian style, characterized by a sense of proportion, balance, and carefully thought out details. Furniture and objects of the time were of a larger scale, yet with a lighter feeling than earlier periods. This lighter feeling transmitted grace, elegance, and prominence, and allowed details to become more of the focal point, rather than the principle elements of the structure. The Georgian Court Collection reflects those earlier influences with a well-balanced proportions, attractive brass finished details, and amber glass with a marbleized finish and decorative ring. Designed by Charles Kelton.
