There was a lot of demo, reframing and rearranging involved in this beautiful remodel to get it to it’s final result. We first had to remove every surface including several walls to open up the Kitchen to the living room and what is now a bar area where our clients can relax, play pool and watch TV. Off the Kitchen is a new laundry with extra storage and countertop space. In removing the walls in the kitchen, we were able to create a large island, move the appliances around and created a new open concept living space. The cabinets in the bar area, laundry and Kitchen perimeter are a white shaker style cabinet with the Island being a separate beautiful Grey color. All of the cabinets were topped with a gorgeous Vittoria white quartz countertop. The Kitchen was then completed with the stand out Grey Glazed Brick backsplash. Finally, the flooring! The home was also updated with a new 12x48 Aequa Tur wood look tile. We created a custom design with this tile at the entry way and transitioned between rooms with a soldier pattern. Norman Building & DesignJust adjacent to the media room is the home's wine bar area. The bar door rolls back to disclose wine storage for reds with the two refrig drawers just to the doors right house those drinks that need a chill.
Elite Kitchen & Bath/Express ContractingGlorious home bar situated right where all the action is - in the expansive living/dining space. Custom high gloss cabinetry adorns the wine bar which is surrounded by black glass cabinetry that is back-lit. An undercounter wine fridge, black quartz counter holds a fine selection of wine and liquor. The glass cabinets stores a multitude of glasses and displays beautiful artwork, Mirrored back splash finishes this wonderful design.
Irene DesignsTwo walls were taken down to open up the kitchen and to enlarge the dining room by adding the front hallway space to the main area. Powder room and coat closet were relocated from the center of the house to the garage wall. The door to the garage was shifted by 3 feet to extend uninterrupted wall space for kitchen cabinets and to allow for a bigger island.
Robeson DesignInterior Designer Rebecca Robeson created a Home Bar area where her client would be excited to entertain friends and family. With a nod to the Industrial, Rebecca's goal was to turn this once outdated condo, into a hip, modern space reflecting the homeowners LOVE FOR THE LOFT! Paul Anderson from EKD in Denver, worked closely with the team at Robeson Design on Rebecca's vision to insure every detail was built to perfection. Custom cabinets of Silver Eucalyptus include luxury features such as live edge Curly Maple shelves above the serving countertop, touch-latch drawers, soft-close hinges and hand forged steel kick-plates that graze the White Oak hardwood floors... just to name a few. To highlight it all, individually lit drawers and sliding cabinet doors activate upon opening. Set against used brick, the look and feel connects seamlessly with the adjacent Dining area and Great Room ... perfect for home entertainment!
