The built-in storage allows the homeowner to store all her large serving pieces without needing another piece of furniture. This also allowed her to keep her favorite dining table that she'd received from her family without finding a buffet to coordinate with it. Moss Photography - www.mossphotography.com

This stunning Elm slab was located in a boutique mill in New England and selected for the table that was made for a Victorian home. A series of “butterfly keys” were used to stabilize the large cracks along the naturally occurring checks and cracks, in a nod to George Nakashima. The base is a Walnut slab with a partial raw edge.

The clients had purchased the table and chairs for their previous home . They fit well in this space, thus we recovered them in the lush cut velvet from Designer's guild. They are now show stopping. The paint is #6861, "Radish" by Sherwin Williams.

A dining area fit for a King and Queen. In the past, royals were known for dressing their homes in dramatic coloring, red being a popular choice. We had a lot of fun creating this style, as we used fiery crimsons, refined patterns, and bold accents of gold and crystal, which was perfect for this large dining room that sits ten!
Designed by Michelle Yorke Interiors who also serves Seattle as well as Seattle's Eastside suburbs from Mercer Island all the way through Cle Elum.
