UserLa chambre, recouverte de toile, a été nettoyée, modernisée, avec des couleurs en accord avec le reste de l'appartement.
L'éclairage est une partie très important du projet, apportant lumière, et modulant l'espace selon les besoins. Ici, une applique LED vient mettre en valeur l'ancien conduit de cheminée, derrière un banc fonctionnel.
Le papier peint Abstrakt trees apporte une touche déco moderne. La mise à nu des murs a permis de découvrir cette jolie poutre
Sai InteriorsFollowing the refurbishment of their kitchen, our Hemel Hempstead clients wanted us to give their daughters bedroom a budget makeover. She had trouble sleeping in her existing bedroom. Her brief was anything pink and she wanted her name on the wall. We sprinkled a little magic and she absolutely loved the results!
HartleyCox InteriorsThe client presented us with the two unframed Barbara Hepworth prints and asked us to use them as a basis for the colour scheme. We managed to source the most beautiful co-ordinating fabrics for cushions and curtains that oick up the colours in the artwork we had professionally framed. Walls were painted in a soft peachy coral which warms this north facing room. Quirky lighting and marble and brass surfaces add a touch of luxury.

FORMA DesignThe master bedroom accent color is red- seen in the recessed ceiling plane and the custom red wool area rug. The bed has a white leather headboard and floating walnut base and night stands. The focus is always the skyline outside, beyond the balcony.

This homeowner renovated semi-detached home in Toronto is one of those rare spaces I recently photographed for a realtor friend. From what the homeowner has told me, the stained glass and light fixtures were with the house… in the attic… when they purchased it. Over a period of years they removed plaster, revealing the brick behind it, closed in the wall between the dining room and the living room (which had been opened by a previous owner) using the stained glass panels. The interesting thing was that the stained glass panels were all slightly different sizes, so their treatment in mounting them had to be especially careful.
They also paid particular attention to maintaining the heritage look of the space while upgrading utilities and adding their own more modern touches. The eclectic blend just adds to the charm of the home. Not afraid of bright colour, the daughter’s room is a shocking shade of orange, but somehow, it works!
Unfortunately, being the photographer, I have little information on sourcing aside from knowing that the kitchen is from Ikea. That said, I think this is a space that holds inspiration beyond the imagination!
Fables de MursLa chambre est de faible largeur. Les rangements sont intégrés au bâti autour de la tête de lit. Ils permettent également de cacher des conduits de cheminée disgracieux. Le chevet rouge s'harmonise avec le mur et les portes coulissantes. La chambre donne un accès direct à la salle d'eau. Le mur rouge permet de redimensionner la pièce trop en longueur.
