The new master bedroom suite is "sunken" below a new home theater + home office one sub-level above. AW-designed, custom built-in dresser references Japanese Tansu cabinetry. Solid walnut with a hand-rubbed natural oil finish and uncoated, tumbled brass edge-pull hardware. Photo | Kurt Jordan Photography
SYNESTHESIES

This Master Bedroom has a relaxing ambiance, a personal retreat from family and friends. Set as the entire second floor, views reach for miles. Cool blues are calming and serene, with a plush abstract rug and custom metal king size bed. Stone side tables, and office space and a lounge area with the best view in the house.
Redesign Right, LLC
A room redesign does not have to be extensive for a dramatic change. Adding these simple pillows together paired with a lovely piece of art and a vase of corresponding flowers brings this neutral room to life! Redesign by Debbie Correale of Redesign Right, LLC.
My Bespoke Room

A newly renovated terrace in St Peters needed the final touches to really make this house a home, and one that was representative of it’s colourful owner. This very energetic and enthusiastic client definitely made the project one to remember.
With a big brief to highlight the clients love for fashion, a key feature throughout was her personal ‘rock’ style. Pops of ‘rock' are found throughout and feature heavily in the luxe living areas with an entire wall designated to the clients icons including a lovely photograph of the her parents. The clients love for original vintage elements made it easy to style the home incorporating many of her own pieces. A custom vinyl storage unit finished with a Carrara marble top to match the new coffee tables, side tables and feature Tom Dixon bedside sconces, specifically designed to suit an ongoing vinyl collection.
Along with clever storage solutions, making sure the small terrace house could accommodate her large family gatherings was high on the agenda. We created beautifully luxe details to sit amongst her items inherited which held strong sentimental value, all whilst providing smart storage solutions to house her curated collections of clothes, shoes and jewellery. Custom joinery was introduced throughout the home including bespoke bed heads finished in luxurious velvet and an excessive banquette wrapped in white Italian leather. Hidden shoe compartments are found in all joinery elements even below the banquette seating designed to accommodate the clients extended family gatherings.

Modern and Romantic. The centerpiece of this Master Bedroom Suite is the gray upholstered wing-back headboard, contrasted by the silky powder blue bedding. Fluted bedside chests and a dresser adds texture but still feels modern with nickel accents. In the sitting room, set on an angle is a curved sofa dressed in velvet. This is both warm and inviting, the perfect place to relax in at the end of a long day.

A contemporary home with a roof made up of two offset inverted rectangles that integrate into a single building supported by a solid wood beam. The visual impact is stunning yet the home integrates into the rich, semi-arid grasslands and opens to embrace the inspired views of Nicola Lake! The laminated wood beam is not really supported by the port hole openings, instead it is really part of a solid structural wood support system built up within the building envelope and providing lateral support for the home. The glazed windows extend from the underside of the roof plane down to the floor of the main living area, creating a ‘zero edge’ water view and the L shaped deck does not fully extend along the width of the lake façade so that uninterrupted lake and hillside views can be enjoyed from the interior. Finally lakeside beauty is captured by a window wall where an indoor/outdoor concrete fireplace enhances the views from the interior while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere deck-side. - See more at: http://mitchellbrock.com/projects/case-studies/lake-city-home/#sthash.cwQTqPYv.dpuf
