Wine Cellars by CoastalThe bottles in this custom wine cellar Los Angeles are stored on their side, a position highly conducive to proper wine storage. This is because the wine inside the bottle should remain in almost constant contact with the cork, to prevent it from drying out. If the cork were to dry out, it would shrink and allow air into the bottle, causing the wine to spoil due to oxidation. When oxidized, the wine has an unpleasant taste and smell.

Solid Apollo LEDSolid Apollo LED. In this simple wine cellar installation, the owners wanted to add lighting to their wire cabinet without having to use bulky traditional lighting. LED strip light in daylight white was placed vertically along both edges of the wine cellar and highlights the bottles and blue glass enclosure. The LED lights are controlled using a Micro LED Controller hidden along the side of the wine cooler for simple on/off control and light dimming.
US Cellar SystemsThis is the wine cellar cooling system we used on this home wine cellar project in Dallas. It is an HS4600 ducted split system, which does not require an adjoining room for venting heat.
The condenser was placed outdoors, creating a quiet operation.
