James Frank Construction IncMid-Century update to a home located in NW Portland. The project included a new kitchen with skylights, multi-slide wall doors on both sides of the home, kitchen gathering desk, children's playroom, and opening up living room and dining room ceiling to dramatic vaulted ceilings. Katz Novoa ArchitectsThe commission consisted of the design of a new English Manor House on a secluded 24 acre plot of
land. The property included water features, rolling grass areas at the front and a steep section of woods
at the rear. The project required the procurement of permits from the New Jersey Department of
Environmental Conservation and a variance from the Mendham Zoning Board of Appeals.
The stately Colonial Manor is entirely clad in Pennsylvania stone, has slate roofs, copper gutters and
leaders, and lavish interior finishes. It comprises six Bedroom Suites, each with its own Bathroom, plus
an apartment over the garages, and eight garage bays. The house was designed with energy efficiency
in mind, and incorporates the highest R-value insulation throughout, low-E, argon-filled insulating
windows and patio doors, a geothermal HVAC system, and energy-efficient appliances.

Deb Seeley Designs LLCThe reading room was designed with a his and her desk which purposely was positioned in that part of the room so I could specify a large window which would allow them to view their beautiful gardens while on their computers. The desk has a pull-out shelf to hold their printer, which when not in use is hidden behind a cabinet door. The double sliding french doors allow them easy access to their large deck. Both ceilings in the addition were designed with cathedral ceiling with tongue and groove white paneled ceilings, and Casablanca fans to keep the spaces cool.
Closet Organizing SystemsThe home office was placed in the corner with ample desk/counter space. The base cabinets provide space for a pull out drawer to house a printer and hanging files. Upper cabinets offer mail slots and folder storage/sorting. Glass door uppers open up space. Marbleized laminate counter top. Herridge & Assoc., Inc.The den/study is a large room with a small space designated for the study. It has a built-in desk in the corner of the room. The den provides a quiet, comfortable place to study, read and watch TV. The owners and Debra Villeneuve Interiors created a warm and inviting space. The walls have grass cloth wall covering, the ceilings are accented with stained wood beams and the wide plank wood floors make this a room that you could sit for hours reading a book.
Tami Smight InteriorsSmall office can pack a lot of design impact. The client wanted a space to read and display baseball memorabilia, with a sophisticated flair.
