Durham Designs & Consulting, LLCRustic elements are used throughout with cedar beams and unfilled, chisled-edge travertine stone from Walker Zanger laid in a Versailles pattern through much of the main floor. Luxurious patterened silk drapes adorn the large windows of the grand foyer and Louis XV chairs and rustic benches provide visitors a place to rest upon their arrival.

Dale Marie LaBohnThis project was a craftsman that needed a renovation. When the homeowners were ready to sell, I helped stage the house. The house presented so well, it sold within 4 days for over $20,000 over the asking price.
Today’s Entry DoorsHome with Rustic style 36" X 96" sized single entry arched top, fiberglass door. Jeld-Wen Aurora Model A-5037, full glass door with exterior wrought iron grille. Mahogany grain surface, factory stained with Mocha and antiqued. Installed in San Juan Capistrano, CA home.
Revival FlooringRevival Flooring installed these custom sized wood tiles in the foyer of a home built in the 1880's. The species include white oak, and red maple. The entire floor was trowel filled and then sanded down. The final result is a wood floor that looks like tile. It has a bit of texture and hides wear and tear so well.
Somrak Concept and Structure, Inc.A faux finished entry door rests in a reclaimed frame. American Clay walls with embedded straw surround the reclaimed wood.

Durham Designs & Consulting, LLCThe foyer is a grand entrance with a handmade piece from Artitalia in Italy. In keeping with the mountain Adirondack theme, the wainscoting is stained wood and complimented by the applied hand-peeled and crafted diamond shapes which continue up the grand staircase. The oil painting of willows along with pine cone iron crafted candlesticks adorn the sideboard. An oversized, highly detailed leather chair by Hancock and Moore awaits a visitor to have a seat while putting on boots to go play in the snow or go for a hike in the summer along the numerous trail s of the mountain site.
