Haven Design and ConstructionThe light filled laundry room is punctuated with black and gold accents, a playful floor tile pattern and a large dog shower. The U-shaped laundry room features plenty of counter space for folding clothes and ample cabinet storage. A mesh front drying cabinet is the perfect spot to hang clothes to dry out of sight. The "drop zone" outside of the laundry room features a countertop beside the garage door for leaving car keys and purses. Under the countertop, the client requested an open space to fit a large dog kennel to keep it tucked away out of the walking area. The room's color scheme was pulled from the fun floor tile and works beautifully with the nearby kitchen and pantry.
Cranberry Hill KitchensA quiet laundry room with soft colours and natural hardwood flooring. This laundry room features light blue framed cabinetry, an apron fronted sink, a custom backsplash shape, and hooks for hanging linens.
leeannallmanThis super laundry room has lots of built in storage, including three extra large drying drawers with air flow and a timer, a built in ironing board with outlet and a light, a hanging area for drip drying, pet food alcoves, a center island and extra tall slated cupboards for long-handled items like brooms and mops. The mosaic glass tile backsplash was matched around corners. The pendant adds a fun industrial touch. The floor tiles are hard-wearing porcelain that looks like stone. The countertops are a quartz that mimics marble.
Boyce Design + BuildThe cheerful, blue laundry room is as beautiful as it is functional with custom cabinets, a hanging drying station, hidden ironing board and steel undermount sink.
Stebnitz Builders, Inc.This 2,500 square-foot home, combines the an industrial-meets-contemporary gives its owners the perfect place to enjoy their rustic 30- acre property. Its multi-level rectangular shape is covered with corrugated red, black, and gray metal, which is low-maintenance and adds to the industrial feel.
Encased in the metal exterior, are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and an aging-in-place suite that is made for the in-laws. This home also boasts two garage doors that open up to a sunroom that brings our clients close nature in the comfort of their own home.
The flooring is polished concrete and the fireplaces are metal. Still, a warm aesthetic abounds with mixed textures of hand-scraped woodwork and quartz and spectacular granite counters. Clean, straight lines, rows of windows, soaring ceilings, and sleek design elements form a one-of-a-kind, 2,500 square-foot home
Cathie Hong InteriorsThis home was a blend of modern and traditional, mixed finishes, classic subway tiles, and ceramic light fixtures. The kitchen was kept bright and airy with high-end appliances for the avid cook and homeschooling mother. As an animal loving family and owner of two furry creatures, we added a little whimsy with cat wallpaper in their laundry room.
Meadowlark Design+BuildThis "perfect-sized" laundry room is just off the mudroom and can be closed off from the rest of the house. The large window makes the space feel large and open. A custom designed wall of shelving and specialty cabinets accommodates everything necessary for day-to-day laundry needs. Fritz Carpentry & Contracting, LLCWhat was once just a laundry room has been transformed into a combined mudroom to meet the needs of a young family. Designed and built by Fritz Carpentry & Contracting, custom cabinets and coat cubbies add additional storage while creating visual interest for passers-by. Tucked behind a custom sliding barn door, floating maple shelves, subway tile, brick floor and a farmhouse sink add character and charm to a newer home.
