Amy Pearson DesignAPD was hired to update the primary bathroom and laundry room of this ranch style family home. Included was a request to add a powder bathroom where one previously did not exist to help ease the chaos for the young family. The design team took a little space here and a little space there, coming up with a reconfigured layout including an enlarged primary bathroom with large walk-in shower, a jewel box powder bath, and a refreshed laundry room including a dog bath for the family’s four legged member!
Alix Helps InteriorsA striking, contemporary multi-purpose bathroom and laundry. Clever joinery conceals the laundry when not in use. Bold feature tiles makes for a stunning space.
Colour Confidence InteriorsLarge format matt tiles to the floor and 300 x 600 horizontal gloss tiles to the walls are a great backdrop for rows the textured timber cabinets, both below and above bench. Dark timber and rattan accessories add a tropical vibe with the over-scaled green bottles the only hit of colour.
Atelier Chen HungInternal spaces on the contrary display a sense of warmth and softness, with the use of materials such as locally sourced Cypress Pine and Hoop Pine plywood panels throughout.

Laundry & Mudroom: Main Floor w/ access to Garage
Hoosier ClosetsFloor to ceiling storage with open shelving and a space to fold items. The long cabinet accommodates cleaning supplies such as mops & vacuum cleaners.
Progressive Design BuildThe laundry room was kept in the same space, adjacent to the mudroom and walk-in pantry. It features the same cherry wood cabinetry with plenty of countertop surface area for folding laundry. The laundry room is also designed with under-counter space for storing clothes hampers, tall storage for an ironing board, and storage for cleaning supplies. Unique to the space were custom built-in dog crates for our client’s canine companions, as well as special storage space for their dogs’ food.
Trim Tech DesignsYou can never have too much shoe storage, am I right??
As a high traffic space, mudrooms are the perfect place to pack in as many storage solutions as possible.

クラシスホーム株式会社洗面化粧台も造作にて製作しました。大型の洗面ボウルを入れて収納も多くとりました。ダークグレー色のモザイクタイルがヴィンテージ感を出しています。お住まいの中で洗面室の天井にだけ唯一鮮やかなグリーンの壁紙を採用し、遊び心を感じる暮らしのアクセントになりました
