chadbourne + doss architectsThis modern deck by chadbourne + doss architects is sheltered by a cedar clad roof overhang that wraps down the side walls grounding the home to its site.

Paul Langston InteriorsOur client moved into a modern apartment in South East London with a desire to warm it up and bring the outside in. We set about transforming the space into a lush, rustic, rural sanctuary with an industrial twist.
We stripped the ceilings and wall back to their natural substrate, which revealed textured concrete and beautiful steel beams. We replaced the carpet with richly toned reclaimed pine and introduced a range of bespoke storage to maximise the use of the space. Finally, the apartment was filled with plants, including planters and living walls, to complete the "outside inside" feel.

Chapala IronThe balconies reflect the very Mediterranean color palette for this house. This is the only one we could capture in full figure.
Accoya WoodAccoya was used for all the superior decking and facades throughout the ‘Jungle House’ on Guarujá Beach. Accoya wood was also used for some of the interior paneling and room furniture as well as for unique MUXARABI joineries. This is a special type of joinery used by architects to enhance the aestetic design of a project as the joinery acts as a light filter providing varying projections of light throughout the day.
The architect chose not to apply any colour, leaving Accoya in its natural grey state therefore complimenting the beautiful surroundings of the project. Accoya was also chosen due to its incredible durability to withstand Brazil’s intense heat and humidity.

Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCComfort and functionality was the focus for the balcony furniture. The balcony furniture is as sleek and interesting from the front as from the back, which is how it’s seen from the inside. The balcony seating is a combination of crafted powder-coated tubular aluminum wrapped in high-density polyethylene rope, resulting in striking and innovative outdoor furniture.
