Betty Wasserman Art & InteriorsModern luxury meets warm farmhouse in this Southampton home! Scandinavian inspired furnishings and light fixtures create a clean and tailored look, while the natural materials found in accent walls, casegoods, the staircase, and home decor hone in on a homey feel. An open-concept interior that proves less can be more is how we’d explain this interior. By accentuating the “negative space,” we’ve allowed the carefully chosen furnishings and artwork to steal the show, while the crisp whites and abundance of natural light create a rejuvenated and refreshed interior.
This sprawling 5,000 square foot home includes a salon, ballet room, two media rooms, a conference room, multifunctional study, and, lastly, a guest house (which is a mini version of the main house).
Project Location: Southamptons. Project designed by interior design firm, Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors. From their Chelsea base, they serve clients in Manhattan and throughout New York City, as well as across the tri-state area and in The Hamptons.

Larisa McShane & AssociatesExposed attic joists in the ceiling add height to the room. Refinished hardwood floors, sophisticated lighting, and a large scale floral rug connect all the elements, creating a visually interesting yet tranquil space.

Blue Heron Signature HomesDesigned and built by Terramor Homes in Raleigh, NC. Each child’s bedroom was designed with their taste’s in mind, have vaulted ceilings and private baths. Up-sconces light the vaulted ceilings, replicating a natural daylight feel at any time.

Ann Lowengart InteriorsBubblegum pink is a shade used throughout this joyful teen girl’s bedroom. To conceal an unwanted arched window, we designed a mock roman shade and valance that emphasize the beautiful framed windows. This custom window treatment is designed in three different Robert Allen Design fabrics—a hot pink, a lime green, and a green leopard print fabric.

Olamar InteriorsA soft and sophisticated master bedroom retreat with a beachy feel in Alexandria, Va. The soft blue/grey color is soothing and relaxing. We added a grasscloth wallpaper to the tray ceiling to draw attention to the architecture and highlight the rope chandelier. Custom linen draperies add softness and warmth in this large space. A large seating area was warmed and made functional by a custom designed, custom made sectional and storage ottoman. Angela Todd Studios | Portland, ORThe "Luster of the Pearl” combined the allure of clean lines and redefined traditional silhouettes with texture and opulence. The color palette was fashion-inspired with unexpected color combinations like smokey violet and tiger-eye gold backed with metallic and warm neutrals.
Our design included cosmetic reconstruction of the fireplace, mosaic tile improvements to the kitchen, artistic custom wall finishes, and introduced new materials to the Portland market.
