The neutral tones are a nod to the theme of the apartment. The walk in wardrobe is finished in walnut bring a rich colour to the dressing area. Comprising of hanging and draw space with shelves to display decor.
Kos InteriorsThe Clear Lake Cottage proposes a simple tent-like envelope to house both program of the summer home and the sheltered outdoor spaces under a single vernacular form.
A singular roof presents a child-like impression of house; rectilinear and ordered in symmetry while playfully skewed in volume. Nestled within a forest, the building is sculpted and stepped to take advantage of the land; modelling the natural grade. Open and closed faces respond to shoreline views or quiet wooded depths.
Like a tent the porosity of the building’s envelope strengthens the experience of ‘cottage’. All the while achieving privileged views to the lake while separating family members for sometimes much need privacy.
Studio INTEGRATEIn this room we joined to small attic rooms, opened up the false ceiling and created a large bedroom with ensuite and walking wardrobes
Two Street StudioThe Bunk Room contains four built-in bunk beds and a ladder that doubles as storage. Continuous built-in millwork provides additional storage and seating.

This large master suite features an angled high ceiling, huge windows, custom carpentry feature wall and more. Walls painted in Benjamin Moore American White (2112-70).
