Hammer & Hand
We joined forces with JHL Design’s Holly Freres and Liz Morgan to transform a dark and dated Pearl District penthouse into an elegant and timeless home. The space was designed with European metropolitan interiors in mind, giving it the “Parisian Modern” look the clients desired.
The team replaced cherry casework and red and ochre walls with clean white and neutral shades to brighten the space. The new applied wood paneling serves as an interesting architectural detail while modern fixtures and furniture keep it from feeling too traditional. The project also included new casework, new wood floors and carpet, new terrazzo countertops, new vanity and plumbing fixtures, and reworked cabinetry in the kitchen and pantry.

Twilly and Fig
This boy’s modern room perfectly captures high school youth and masculinity. The soft grey and blue color scheme and taupe finishes provide a calm, sophisticated environment. The simplicity in the subtle striped duvet pattern and textured wallpaper add nice visual interest without becoming too dominating in the space.

Marker Girl Home
This small guest bedroom was designed with the outside garden in mine. With color palettes of blue, green and yellow. Fun soft patterns. A beautiful custom painting to pull it all together. Sherwin Williams 6427 Sprout wall color.

This is a cozy sitting area in a master bedroom. The accent wall is decorated with a cluster of family photos, the idea being that as the famly grows the gallery wall will grow with favorite memories.

This bedroom consists of four zones; the main sleeping area with the TV hidden behind the curtain, the reading area of a very low armchair, the make-up desk area that is not visible in this shot and the dressing area.

No Chintz
The floor to ceiling windows in the upstairs master bedroom overlooking the water is a restful sight but brought in glare at certain times of the day in a space which is always about calm. The No Chintz team did what they do so well in layering the glass first with a soft unlined Roman blind, then a block out layer so essential for complete rest, and over that, an ethereal translucent fabric in the palest of greens. The layering has given the entire wall of glass a softness and style, making the bedroom a welcoming place of respite.
