Margaret Donaldson InteriorsAn over the top room for this idea house! The room began with the fabric for the duvet cover. The fabric's pattern was abstracted and interpreted for the ceiling detail. All hues of turquoise were used and pulled from the duvet fabric.

Talianko Design Group, LLCA master bedroom with an ocean inspired, upscale hotel atmosphere. The soft blues, creams and dark woods give the impression of luxury and calm. Soft sheers on a rustic iron rod hang over woven grass shades and gently filter light into the room. Rich painted wood panel molding helps to anchor the space. A reading area adorns the bay window and the antique tray table offers a worn nautical motif. Brass fixtures and the rough hewn dresser remind one of the sea. Artwork and accessories also lend a coastal feeling.
Simpson & VoyleLuxury and soft tones for this principle bedroom. With the introduction of gorgeous carpets and a velvet headboard, alongside the subtle use of print on the cushions, combine to create a sanctuary of calm and luxury. The brass detail on the bedside lights also give a flavour of the past with a nod to the 1950’s in design.
Simpson & VoyleThe pitch roof, lends itself to a feature colour in this otherwise grownup children’s bedroom.

2 Navy Lane, LLCBoth guest rooms bring in the best of both luxury and practicality, encouraging guests to sleep in just a little bit later on Saturday morning or have their breakfast in bed. The guest rooms can accommodate out-of-town guests and teenage sleepovers as well as just be a great spot for laying down for an afternoon nap.

Velvet Bloom InteriorsMaster Bedroom design. This sophisticated bedroom has a playful twist by introducing a pop of petrol blue, and the homeowners own designed artwork. The black panelling creates a focal point behind the bed to make the room feel more grounded. While the pink paint colour (Craig & Rose Hermitage) adds a feminine softness.
This space was completed on a budget. So it was mostly paint, wood and a few accessories to bring this look together.
