Modern BlazeThe 30" plug-in electric firebox offers a 120 volt plug-in firebox with thermostat controlled fan-forced heat. The pulsating embers and LED inner glow logs molded from real wood logs for incredible realism with patented electric flame technology. The firebox includes the Purifire™ air treatment system filters airborne allergens and particulates.
Mark Brand ArchitectureSpectacular views, a tricky site and the desirability of maintaining views and light for adjacent neighbors inspired our design for this new house in Clarendon Heights. The facade features subtle shades of stucco, coordinating dark aluminum windows and a bay element which twists to capture views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Built into an upsloping site, retaining walls allowed us to create a bi-level rear yard with the lower part at the main living level and an elevated upper deck with sweeping views of San Francisco. The interiors feature an open plan, high ceilings, luxurious finishes and a dramatic curving stair with metal railings which swoop up to a second-floor sky bridge. Well-placed windows, including clerestories flood all of the interior spaces with light.
Dona Rosene InteriorsThe client's request was to continue the spa-like environment Dona Rosene Interiors had just completed in the adjacent master bathroom (see Ethereal Bath) into the Master Bedroom. An elegant, antique silver finished chandelier replaced the ceiling fan. An upholstered headboard & tailored bed-skirt in the ethereal gray green linen compliments the geometric fabric used on the pillows & drapery panels framing the shutters and hanging from a bronze rod. The fixed panels soften the wall of French windows and door as well as creating the illusion of height. A cozy seating area warms up to the fireplace and TV.Photos by Michael Hunter.
Christie Hausmann DesignThis client wanted a fresh start, taking only minimal items from her old house when she moved. We gave the kitchen and half bath a facelift, and then decorated the rest of the house with all new furniture and decor, while incorporating her unique and funky art and family pieces. The result is a house filled with fun and unexpected surprises, one of our favorites to date!
romero + obeji interior designGreat shot of a recent project reveals this exceptional space with a pair of custom swivels that can face bed, as well as the views. A classic midcentury floor lamp adds interest but doesn't block the views. Functional walnut nightstands float on nickel "X" bases and keep a low profile to allow the lighting and rug to be front and center of the design. On the left, an original MasterCraft burl wood and brass credenza adds a polished contrast to the new earthy concrete clad fireplace wall.

SYNESTHESIESDans cette vaste suite parentale, profitant de belles proportions et d'une très belle hauteur sous plafond, la chambre lumineuse réunit tout le confort parental. Véritable cocon douillet, le lit est niché dans une alcôve, crée dans l'épaisseur du mur. Double jeu pour cette tête de lit en semi cloison qui sert à dissimuler des rangements (table de chevet, cimaise, placards). Les murs sont revêtus d'un gris mat qui accentue l'effet alcôve. Tandis que les placards intégrants la tête de lit épousent les contraintes architecturales de l'espace.
Robin Gannon InteriorsHistorical meets traditional in this Lexington inn's 22 room update/remodel. Robin oversaw the project entirely, from interior architecture to choosing the butter knives in the Inn’s restaurant. Named twice to Travel + Leisure’s “Top 100 Hotels in the World”, the project’s standout interior design continue to help earn the Inn and its upscale restaurant international accolades.
