Volume Zero, LLC [architectural design studio]The tiny existing rear building was used as a darkroom and storage. We completely renovated the building to now house the master bedroom suite. Since the space is quite small, we designed and fabricated custom storage cabinets with integrated nightstands as well as a dresser. The existing ceiling was low; we removed the wood boards on the ceiling to expose the ceiling beams. We saved the old woods boards and re-installed them as the wall finish for the wall separating the bedroom from the bathroom.

Interiors and Functional DesignBedroom designed to lavish one in warmth and luxury. All bedding, drapery hardware and drapery are custom made. Vintage and antique found pieces accent the room to add to the Old World style charm.

ULFBUILTThe modern television and the wood drawers below it blend in to the traditional bed adjacent to it, giving an elegant impression in this bedroom. Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and semi floor to ceiling windows make this room feel spacious and relaxed. Likewise, the large window lets you view and appreciate the nature from the inside.

Homes And Such LLCWith south-facing windows, this space is naturally light and bright. It feels fresh and pure, with a hint of modern coziness. The creamy color palette is complemented by rust accents, taking inspiration from the traditional brick
fireplace. Furnishings maintain the creamy, dreamy neutral aesthetic, integrating earthy tones for contrast. This creates a space that is equal parts comfortable, with space for whatever the day requires.
Given the sheer size of the room, it was important to match proportions of the furniture with the available space, while also maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. Traditional night stands tend to be low and small and wouldn't match the scale of the space. Instead, desks in place of night stands provide a unique alternative that better fits the scale of the room, providing a functional and well-used spot.
