Louise Mackay Interior DesignThe master bedroom takes on a monotone palette of blush pinks dotted with accents of Moroccan-inspired hues, warming hints of timber, and luxurious linen. By layering the single hue of Dulux Evening Blush the room feels like a gentle hug; a sense of completeness; an opportunity to escape from the moment.
Bold application of colour defines space and creates atmosphere throughout the home. A collection of pink and orange tones inspires adventure and discovery, paired back with original timber floorboards, floor-to-ceiling sheer drapes and textured cushions and décor.
NICHEdgThe blush-colored walls are an adult take on pink. The color is universally flattering on everyone and is key to creating the ethereal and soothing effect that we wanted to incorporate into the design. By incorporating various neutrals and textures, we created a luxurious high-end look on a budget. The coral and contrasting blue tones add cheer without feeling precious. The finished transformation is feminine but very sophisticated.
The bedroom is now a welcoming respite for our hardworking client to enjoy.

Mint Decor Inc.This was a long and narrow room so it was a bit tricky to design, but , I was able to get three distinct areas by using Bamboo room dividers! A separate and semi-private desk area, bedroom area and hangout space (sofa). The bamboo room dividers were cost effective and singularly important in achieving functionality for all three areas within the room. The style is a bit of an Asian-inspired, Boho mix. A printed mustard yellow wallpaper frames the desk area in the back and gives it a bright pop of color, while a pale pink on the walls is a great balance to the beautiful accents and furniture throughout. I’d say it’s the perfect little girl’s room!
