Curated NestThis project design was all about that zen, well-traveled lifestyle full of boho details. We softened the chunky, farmhouse dining table with organic elements like the live-edge wood tray and hand-made clay vases. We stayed within a neutral, earthy color palette and added soft, natural textures. Most of the final design elements we chose feature natural materials with hand-crafted details such as wood, iron, terracotta, clay, glass, etc. Lush plants, planters, and vases are also an accent in this room and serve as an elevated feminine counterpoint to the masculine lines of the dining furniture.

PasticheFrom the dining room, you can see through to the lounge and onto the office. The very dark grey walls created a calm, comfortable feeling in the dining-room, with the ceiling of the lounge in the same colour. The wall panelling was painted in the same colour as the walls but in the Dead Flat finish.
Nest DesignsSince the dining room is an extension of the kitchen and living room, we opted to add a garage door. This makes for easy indoor/outdoor living.
Urbana Design StudioThe homeowner demolished the existing brick fireplace and in it's place, we created a beautiful two sided modern fireplace design with a custom wood mantel and integrated cabinetry.

Beachy BohemeThe client came to us to transform a room in their new house, with the purpose of entertaining friends. In order to give them the relaxed, airy vibe they were looking for, the original outdated space needed some TLC... starting with a coat of paint. We did a walk through with the client to get a feel for the room we’d be working with, asked the couple to give us some insight into their budget and color and style preferences, and then we got to work!
We created three unique design concepts with their preferences in mind: Beachy, Breezy and Boho. Our client chose concept #2 "Breezy" and we got cranking on the procurement and installation (as in putting together an Ikea table).From designing, editing, and ordering to installing, our process took just a few weeks for this project (most of the lag time spent waiting for furniture to arrive)! And we managed to get the husband's seal of approval, too. Double win.
NICHEdgThe coral accent pillow and color art add a dose of color to the design. The dark espresso glass table matches the flooring creating an airy feel to open up the petite space.
