This contempoary breakfast room is part of the larger kitchen. Perfect for smaller meals early morning before work or school. Upholstered chairs in citron green fabric for comfort and a classic mid-century design Tulip table all grounded with a light-colored hide rug. Simple design, edited colors and textures, make for the best result here.

Next Project MMI Design was hired to assist our client with with an extensive kitchen, living room, and dining remodel. The original floor plan was overly compartmentalized and the kitchen may have been the tiniest kitchen on the planet! By taking out a wall which separated the spaces and stealing square footage from the under-utilized dining room, MMI was able to transform the space into a light, bright and open floor plan. The new kitchen has room for multiple cooks with all the bells and whistles of modern day kitchens, and the living spaces are large enough to entertain friends and family. We are especially proud of this project, as we believe it is not only beautiful but also transformative in terms of the new livability of the spaces.

When one thing leads to another...and another...and another... This fun family of 5 humans and one pup enlisted us to do a simple living room/dining room upgrade. Those led to updating the kitchen with some simple upgrades. (Thanks to Superior Tile and Stone) And that led to a total primary suite gut and renovation (Thanks to Verity Kitchens and Baths). When we were done, they sold their now perfect home and upgraded to the Beach Modern one a few galleries back. They might win the award for best Before/After pics in both projects! We love working with them and are happy to call them our friends. Design by Eden LA Interiors Photo by Kim Pritchard Photography

In the breakfast area, a light wood breakfast table contrasts with the black side chairs and dramatic artwork. A modern light fixture adds an unexpected touch, while long drapes and a woven window shade complete the space.

As this family was moving to Dallas, they needed the guidance of a designer to provide finishing touches to the building process as well as someone to fully furnish their new home. Their desire was to have a new start in an updated transitional and slightly modern style, quite different from their previous home’s modern farmhouse décor. We brought in clean lines, warm textures and an abundance of neutrals to keep a light and airy feel throughout most of the home, reserving some moody tones for the study and a little drama in the guest bath. This home’s new, elevated aesthetic is a perfect balance of beauty, function, light and elegance. It just flows with feelings of comfort and ease!

This single family home had been recently flipped with builder-grade materials. We touched each and every room of the house to give it a custom designer touch, thoughtfully marrying our soft minimalist design aesthetic with the graphic designer homeowner’s own design sensibilities. One of the most notable transformations in the home was opening up the galley kitchen to create an open concept great room with large skylight to give the illusion of a larger communal space.

This well curated collection of unique coastal natural elements embraced this 1920's bungalow home in the heart of St. Petersburg. We used such unpretentious pieces that warmed up the opulent white walls. A light color palette imparting a breezy tropical look that evokes the sky and sea. Graphic print wallpapers enhanced the white and wood palette that brings personality and dimension. Thanks to the inviting atmosphere and crisp, contemporary aesthetic furnishings this coastal bungalow captures the essence of casual elegance.
