This large kitchen was desperately needing a refresh. It was far to traditional for the homeowners taste. Additionally, there was no direct path to the dining room as you needed to enter through a butlers pantry. I opened up two doorways into the kitchen from the dining room, which allowed natural light to flow in. The former butlers pantry was then sealed up and became part of the formerly to small pantry. The homeowners now have a 13' long walk through pantry, accessible from both the new bar area and the kitchen.

Our Petite Lounge was formerly a small atrium, but after opening up the small doorway to create this dramatic entry, it is a stunning part of a trifecta of spaces meant to elegantly and comfortably entertain well.

This 1600+ square foot basement was a diamond in the rough. We were tasked with keeping farmhouse elements in the design plan while implementing industrial elements. The client requested the space include a gym, ample seating and viewing area for movies, a full bar , banquette seating as well as area for their gaming tables - shuffleboard, pool table and ping pong. By shifting two support columns we were able to bury one in the powder room wall and implement two in the custom design of the bar. Custom finishes are provided throughout the space to complete this entertainers dream.

Wall cabinets were removed to open up the space and make way for open shelving. New countertops, door & drawer fronts, and wood finish on the peninsula complete the revamped bar / kitchen.

This home brew pub invites friends to gather around and taste the latest concoction. I happily tried Pumpkin when there last. The homeowners wanted warm and friendly finishes, and loved the more industrial style.
With Summer on its way, having a home bar is the perfect setting to host a gathering with family and friends, and having a functional and totally modern home bar will allow you to do so!
A 2nd doorway in the stone wall previously closed up was opened up and all plaster was removed from the wall to reveal the original stone and brick work. A wet bar with a kegarator and a copper sink was installed and faux beam was used to conceal piping and add visual interests Photo by Abbe Forman
