Howells Architecture + DesignWe turned an attic into a writer's garret. Honey-toned wood floors combine with warm gray wainscoting to make for an appealing space. Sconces by Portland's own Cedar & Moss. A live edge wall-to-wall walnut wood desk provides ample room for writing, mapping out research and story materials, and custom file folder and shelves tuck underneath. In order to personalize and elevate it, each room was given special attention down to the smallest details. Inspiration was gathered from multiple European influences, especially French style. Linda McDougald Design | Postcard from Paris HomeThis three-story, 11,000-square-foot home showcases the highest levels of craftsmanship and design.
With shades of soft greys and linens, the interior of this home exemplifies sophistication and refinement. Dark ebony hardwood floors contrast with shades of white and walls of pale gray to create a striking aesthetic. The significant level of contrast between these ebony finishes and accents and the lighter fabrics and wall colors throughout contribute to the substantive character of the home. An eclectic mix of lighting with transitional to modern lines are found throughout the home. The kitchen features a custom-designed range hood and stainless Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.

Studio DearbornA charming 1920s colonial had a dated dark kitchen that was not in keeping with the historic charm of the home. The owners, who adored British design, wanted a kitchen that was spacious and storage friendly, with the feel of a classic English kitchen. Designer Sarah Robertson of Studio Dearborn helped her client, while architect Greg Lewis redesigned the home to accommodate a larger kitchen, new primary bath, mudroom, and butlers pantry.

BRADSHAW DESIGNS LLCWarm and inviting this new construction home, by New Orleans Architect Al Jones, and interior design by Bradshaw Designs, lives as if it's been there for decades. Charming details provide a rich patina. The old Chicago brick walls, the white slurried brick walls, old ceiling beams, and deep green paint colors, all add up to a house filled with comfort and charm for this dear family.
