Studio DearbornA talented interior designer was ready for a complete redo of her 1980s style kitchen in Chappaqua. Although very spacious, she was looking for better storage and flow in the kitchen, so a smaller island with greater clearances were desired. Grey glazed cabinetry island balances the warm-toned cerused white oak perimeter cabinetry.
White macauba countertops create a harmonious color palette while the decorative backsplash behind the range adds both pattern and texture. Kitchen design and custom cabinetry by Studio Dearborn. Leslie Williams Interior DesignThis kitchen received a major "face lift" by painting the existing dark cabinets this light gray and adding some new additions as well. The built in desk area became a beverage center with sub-zero refrigerator built in and glass upper cabinets added. The double ovens were replaced with a steam and convection oven and the slide in range and upper cabinets were replaced with a stainless hood and pull out bottom drawers. Pull out trash cabinet and pan cabinet were added as well as a custom built television frame to mount the tv above the refrigerator and also hide away items not used as often,
Calcutta gold quartz replaced the old black granite and subway tile replaced the slate back splash. Glass pendants were added over the peninsula and the counter-top was all lowered to counter level. A new paneled curved bar back was added to the peninsula.
Kitchen & Bath GalleryThis whole house remodel included a kitchen & 3 baths for a young growing family.
They were going for a transitional style with a coastal twist. The kitchen was designed using Fieldstone Cabinetry with a light-colored perimeter and a darker island for contrast. The traditional farmhouse style sink is contrasted with a contemporary single control faucet in polished chrome.

Cabinet InnovationsDeep drawer storage for glassware with aluminum rods to hold glasses in place. The interior of the cabinet features a walnut finish. All cabinets are Wood-Mode 84 featuring the Linear Recessed door style on Maple with the Aqua Shade finish. Flooring by Daltile.
Maraya Interior DesignOld world charm, modern styles and color with this craftsman styled kitchen. Plank parquet wood flooring is porcelain tile throughout the bar, kitchen and laundry areas. Marble mosaic behind the range. Featuring white painted cabinets with 2 islands, one island is the bar with glass cabinetry above, and hanging glasses. On the middle island, a complete large natural pine slab, with lighting pendants over both. Laundry room has a folding counter backed by painted tonque and groove planks, as well as a built in seat with storage on either side. Lots of natural light filters through this beautiful airy space, as the windows reach the white quartzite counters.

Kitchen & Bath Design + ConstructionMaple cabinets with a caramel stain and backsplash tile of honed slate were some of their material choices. Crystal Kitchen + BathTying multiple floors together using 6”x36” dark grey wood-looking tile, laid on a staggered patterned worked well with the tile and concrete floors next to it.
Two-toned cabinetry of wired brushed hickory with a grey stain wash, combined with maple wood in a dark slate finish is a current trend.
Counter tops: combination of splashy granite and white Caesarstone grounded the display. A custom-designed table of ash wood, with heavy distressing and grey washed stain added warmth.

Backsplash rail with spice rack, knife and utensil holder add more storage space.
A floating soffit matches the shape of island and helps lower the showroom ceiling height to what would be found in a normal home. It includes: pendant lights for the snack bar, chandelier for the table and recess for task lights over the sink.
The large triangular shaped island has eleven foot legs. It fills the unusual space and creates three separate areas: a work space, snack bar/room divider and table area.
New Creations Custom Kitchen and BathThe living room side of the peninsula was initially designed to be a desk area. During construction, the client decided that installing shelves in the leg area of the desk would be more useful. The cabinet finish was applied underneath the shelves to achieve a finished-furniture look on this side of the peninsula.
