Lynne Barton Bier - Home on the Range InteriorsThe welcoming entry with the stone surrounding the large arched wood entry door, the repetitive arched trusses and warm plaster walls beckons you into the home. The antique carpets on the floor add warmth and the help to define the space.

henhouseWe redesigned the front hall to give the space a big "Wow" when you walked in. This paper was the jumping off point for the whole palette of the kitchen, powder room and adjoining living room. It sets the tone that this house is fun, stylish and full of custom touches that reflect the homeowners love of colour and fashion. We added the wainscotting which continues into the kitchen/powder room to give the space more architectural interest and to soften the bold wall paper. We kept the antique table, which is a heirloom, but modernized it with contemporary lighting.
UserTherma-Tru Classic-Craft American Style fiberglass door featuring high-definition Douglas Fir grain and Shaker-style recessed panels. Door, sidelites and transom include Villager decorative glass – a beautiful interpretation of the Craftsman chevron design. Decade handleset also by Therma-Tru.

Chamberlain & KentThe Kitchen Joinery was designed by Sandie Kent Chamberlain and crafted by a local Oxfordshire-based Joiner. The timber is a light Maple with a satin finish. The end result is a warm, inviting family kitchen that will serve a growing lively family for years to come.
AmberThis kitchen is in a very traditional Tudor home, but the previous homeowners had put in a contemporary, commercial kitchen, so we brought the kitchen back to it's original traditional glory. We used Subzero and Wolf appliances, custom cabinetry, granite, and hand scraped walnut floors in this kitchen. We also worked on the mudroom, hallway, butler's pantry, and powder room.

And the designer responded with quiet restraint, infusing the home with a palette of pale greens, creams and beiges that echo the beachfront outside…. The use of texture on walls, furnishings and fabrics, along with unexpected accents of deep orange, add a cozy feel to the open layout. “I used splashes of orange because it’s a favorite color of mine and of my clients’,” she says. “It’s a hue that lends itself to warmth and energy — this house has a lot of warmth and energy, just like the owners.”
With a nod to the family’s South American heritage, a large, wood architectural element greets visitors
as soon as they step off the elevator.
The jigsaw design — pieces of cherry wood that fit together like a puzzle — is a work of art in itself. Visible from nearly every room, this central nucleus not only adds warmth and character, but also, acts as a divider between the formal living room and family room…..
