FK Interior DesignWhat began as a simple kitchen ‘face-lift’ turned into a more complex kitchen remodel when it was determined that what the client was really seeking was to create a space which evoked the warmth of wood. The challenge was to take a dated (c. 1980’s) white plastic laminate kitchen with a white Formica counter top and transform it into a warmly, wood-clad kitchen without having to demolish the entire kitchen cabinetry. With new door and drawer faces and the careful ‘skinning’ of the existing laminate cabinets with a stained maple veneer; the space became more luxurious and updated. The counter top was replaced with a new quartz slab from Eurostone. The peninsula now accommodates counter-height seating. The Haiku bamboo ceiling fan from Big Ass Fans graces the family room.

ING ConstructionMt. Washington, CA - This modern, one of a kind kitchen remodel, brings us flat paneled cabinets, in both blue/gray and white with a a beautiful mosaic styled blue backsplash.
It is offset by a wonderful, burnt orange flooring (as seen in the reflection of the stove) and also provides stainless steel fixtures and appliances.
Fedewa Custom WorksThis was a rustic walnut kitchen we built for Jessen Construction. The Island is painted a custom blue grey color that the homeowner chose. The island top is walnut. The range is by Lacanche.

Susan Brook InteriorsThe kitchen was totally gutted and remodeled, the existing floor plan did not work so this small kitchen is now compact with great storage. The 2 large cupboards either side of the refrigerator are roll out pantry doors. The wood is quarter sawn white oak with custom detailing cut into the face of the doors, the crown molding was a custom design incorporating a black band of laminate.
FHP Builders LLCDesigned by award winning architect Clint Miller, this North Scottsdale property has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden's 30th Anniversary edition (January 2010). The home was chosen for its authenticity to the Arizona Desert. Built in 2005 the property is an example of territorial architecture featuring a central courtyard as well as two additional garden courtyards. Clint's loyalty to adobe's structure is seen in his use of arches throughout. The chimneys and parapets add interesting vertical elements to the buildings. The parapets were capped using Chocolate Flagstone from Northern Arizona and the scuppers were crafted of copper to stay consistent with the home's Arizona heritage.
Kate DollarDesignThis is a kitchen for a real cook and yet was a remodel that utilized existing space for economy in the remodel. The cabinets are simple, clean and the mahogany gives the design a special quality that was worth the price. The granite has great dimension and is set off by the matchstick splash. Accessories finish this very modern design.
