The main concern of modern living is to have enough storage space even in very reduced spaces.
This particular client brief was to maximize awkward shapes and create bedroom unit that is spacious without being too bulky.
The joinery was built on site without walls reinforcement as whole structure was done to support enough weight.
Relaxing and inviting joinery with a pearl touch paint paired with vibrant green wallpaper in addition to ceramic handle accessories created quite a playful and airy look. To add a bit of fun we used bright orange inside all units to create joyful storage space.
Modern interpretation and good use of materials creates a look that is as livable as it is stylish.

Homestyle Select DecorThis sweet guest room faces the street so we opted for black out shades for privacy in a light airy neutral guest room room with pops of coral.
Catherine BOCQUINnous avons redécoré entièrement la chambre parentale en enlevant la moquette au sol qui recouvrait un superbe parquet.
L'ancien papier-peint à été remplacé par une peinture bleu grise sur un mur et blanc pour les autres.

La verrière permet d’isoler l’espace sans le cloisonner totalement et cela de manière très naturelle. C’est un véritable élément décoratif qui s’invite dans la pièce.. Nous avons choisi de décliner la chambre dans un joli camaïeu de bleu, la couleur préférée de ma cliente. Le colori se décline sur un papier peint lumineux et moderne qui habille les portes de placards. Pour la peinture en tête de lit, l’idée a été de peindre un large cadre afin de créer un véritable cocon et ainsi pouvoir mettre en valeur les lampes de chevets posées « façon baladeuses ».
L’espace est transformé !

Here we have Yellow Pink, by Little Greene Paint Company looking fabulous with Wimborne White on the woodwork and ceilings and Elmore fabric curtains in Feather Grey by Romo. We have managed to squeeze a small double bed in, with a bedside chest of drawers and a beautiful linen cupboard too. Accents of mustard, grey and pale pink working beautifully together here.
Drawn Interior DesignSpace was at a premium in this 1930s bedroom refurbishment, so textured panelling was used to create a headboard no deeper than the skirting, while bespoke birch ply storage makes use of every last millimeter of space.
The circular cut-out handles take up no depth while relating to the geometry of the lamps and mirror.
Muted blues, & and plaster pink create a calming backdrop for the rich mustard carpet, brick zellige tiles and petrol velvet curtains.
