Aria Stone GalleryNeedless to say, this kitchen is a cook’s dream. With an oversized peninsula, there is plenty of space to create tasteful confections. They added another element of interest to their design by mitering the edges of their countertop, creating the look of a thicker slab and adding a nice focal point to the space. Pulling the whole look together, they complemented the sea pearl quartzite countertop beautifully with the use of grey subway tile.
Cabinets were custom built by Chandler in a shaker style with narrow 2" recessed panel and painted in a sherwin williams paint called silverplate in eggshell finish. The hardware was ordered through topknobs in the pennington style, various sizes used.

Main Street Kitchens at BotellosThis beautiful seaside kitchen in Osterville MA on Cape Cod was featured as "kitchen of the week" on Houzz! It features white cabinets, leaded mullions, a cherry island and a soapstone countertop.

Karen Ellentuck. ASIDThis kitchen was in a home dating from the early 20th century and located in the Mt. Baker neighborhood of Seattle. It is u-shaped with an island in the center topped with a zinc counter. Black and white tile was used on the floor in a tradition pattern with hexagon as the inset and a black and white border with a square mosaic around the perimeter framing the island. Cabinetry is inset traditional style with the hardware on the exterior. the base of each cabinet is framed with a footed detail. Base cabinet were painted with teal, upper cabinets are white and the full height cabinets are mahogany which is used throughout the residence. A tradition style faucet was used with the pull out attached. Cup pulls are used on the drawers and knobs have a back plate.
The Kitchen PlaceBuilt in the 1920's, this home's kitchen was small and in desperate need of a re-do (see before pics!!). Load bearing walls prevented us from opening up the space entirely, so a compromise was made to open up a pass thru to their back entry room. The result was more than the homeowner's could have dreamed of. The extra light, space and kitchen storage turned a once dingy kitchen in to the kitchen of their dreams.
StoneshopThis shore house kitchen features beautiful Coast Green granite countertops which are paired with classic white cabinetry. The ceramic subway style backsplash tile is a nice compliment and adds an attractive focal area over the stove.
Walker WoodworkingThis homeowner wanted to make use of every possible space available so we added panels on the end that open into shallow adjustable shelves. This is ideal from storing spices to multivitamins and other small items that tend to get lost in larger pantries.

Aura Design BuildThis Austin family wanted an updated kitchen in their Highland Hills home. We added a gorgeous blue Moroccan tile backsplash for a burst of color and built-in cabinetry and shelving for storage galore.
The white cabinets are a nice contrast to the blue tile and new stainless appliances (plus a stainless farmhouse sink!). Picture frame windows open up the space, and there's plenty of seating at the island, which is also tiled.
