Vision InteriorsThis house had a beautiful old world feel to it and we wanted to the kitchen to follow suit. We expanded the window to bring more natural light into the space and created a large functioning island.
Davis Tamburin Inc.The kitchen island was electrifiedto install a pair of antique rooster lamps with decopaged shades. Over the stove hood we painted a French landscape with the house in the back ground. In the foreground is the breakfast room where we hung a hand blown chandelier with hand blown fruit. The island was stained to break up the cream cabinets .
ABLAZE Design Group (ABL)This clean line kitchen boasts a stunning combination of white oak and white cabinetry that exudes a sense of modern luxury. The cabinets provide ample storage space while seamlessly blending into the walls, creating a sleek and uncluttered look. The quartzite countertops add a touch of elegance to the space, with their natural veining and subtle sparkle catching the eye.
The flooring is made of white oak parquet, providing a warm and inviting feel to the kitchen. The delicious texture and subtle grain of the wood flooring balance the coolness of the white cabinetry and the smooth countertop, creating a perfect blend that is both picturesque and functional.
The stainless-steel appliances are not just practical and robust, they also add a touch of sophistication and chic to the kitchen. These appliances were carefully chosen to match the cool tones of the cabinetry, harmonizing the entire kitchen space.
Overall, this clean line kitchen has been designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The combination of white oak and white cabinetry, quartzite countertops, white oak parquet floors, and stainless steel appliances blend perfectly together to create a timeless design that will never go out of style. Bilotta Kitchen & HomeThis kitchen, designed by David Arnoff, features Bilotta Collection cabinetry in a classic Frosty White paint on the perimeter and Rift Cut White Oak with a “Driftwood” stain for the island. The kitchen prior to renovation had a small island and a peninsula that blocked the flow into the other rooms. It also had a massive wood hood that flanked both sides of the range all the way down to the countertop which was very cumbersome and restrictive. The client wanted to reuse their appliances which were fairly new. So the cabinetry had to be designed around those models but laid out with a much more functional flow. David chose to eliminate the existing peninsula to allow access to the sun room and living area. He opted instead for a larger island to give back the space lost by removing the peninsula. This gave the same amount of cabinet and counter space and was far more functional and easier to move around. Since the one wall of cabinets (where the main sink is) had no wall cabinets, David designed the opposite wall with double stacked cabinets for additional storage – with glass fronts for aesthetics. They also raised the custom hood, by Amore, allowing for more countertop space around the range. The countertops are polished quartz, Aurea Stone by Eastern Stone. The Backsplash is a basket weave marble from Greenwich Tile Marble. Sink and faucets by Kohler. Appliances are a mix of Subzero and Wolf.
