A mixture of standard pine racking, cellar cubes and display spaces, this eye catching wine room fits effortlessly under the stairs. This compact wine cellar has the capacity to store just under 350 bottles.
Wine Cellars by CoastalUsing glass for the door was the best choice for this transitional custom wine cellar in Southern California. The client wanted the door to be frameless. There are two half-inch glass doors with fixed side panels and a large glass door at the center. We added a modern handle and lock.

Kessick Wine Storage SystemsKessick Wine Cellars ‘Select Series’ wine racking is a fully assembled, wall mounted wine storage and wine display racking system.
Designed for small to medium spaces, this wine storage and display system answers the demand for aesthetic, high quality wine racking at a value price.
The Select Series is a floating wine racking system, a first for traditional wine cellar racking (commonly used in kitchen cabinets, closets and garage storage systems). Select Series wine racks are secured with a strong yet easy to install wall-cleat installation. The Kessick Wall-Install system is a proprietary, specially engineered metal bracket that enables a fast, secure install with adjustability for the inevitable out-of-plumb and uneven walls.
The Select Series format consists of modular components that can be designed in a wide range of application from aesthetics showpiece to utilitarian storage. A comprehensive line of pre-engineered designs are available ‘as is’, or can be altered to fit the space or desired application.
Pinnacle Design & RemodelingWhen an old neighbor referred us to a new construction home built in my old stomping grounds I was excited. First, close to home. Second it was the EXACT same floor plan as the last house I built.
We had a local contractor, Curt Schmitz sign on to do the construction and went to work on layout and addressing their wants, needs, and wishes for the space.
Since they had a fireplace upstairs they did not want one int he basement. This gave us the opportunity for a whole wall of built-ins with Smart Source for major storage and display. We also did a bar area that turned out perfectly. The space also had a space room we dedicated to working out space with a barn door.
We did luxury vinyl plank throughout, even in the bathroom, which we have been doing increasingly.
Board & VellumThis modern wine cellar suits the contemporary style of the house and doesn't pretend to be a brick wine cellar in Italy.

Velin HomesA remodel of the existing basement layout allowed for a separate media room and gave us the opportunity to create this neat little wine room under the stairs. Working with a local metal fabricator, we created custom wine holders to match the modern aesthetic of the home, turning an under-utilized space into a focal point of the home.
Sorrells Custom Wine RoomsThe compact space holds 157 standard bottles within the standard and scallop racking, enclosed with a custom glass door. The temperature of the space was originally effected by hot water pipes. We insulated the pipes to help stabilise the atmosphere within the room.
Innovative Wine Cellar DesignsFree standing temperature controlled glass wine cellar shaped by butted glass windows for views from outside. Custom wine racks made from vintage reclaimed wine barrels.
Sommi Wine CellarsWe transformed the space under the staircase of this Oregon City home into a custom home wine cellar with storage room for up to 600 bottles of wine.
Under stairs wine cellars are an easy way to carve out wine display and storage room in a two-story home without sacrificing closet space or giving a full room.
US Cellar SystemsThis photo depicts the aluminum framing of the modern door installed by Wine Cellar Specialists for a contemporary wine cellar under the stairs. It complemented the stair rails and the metal wine racks.
The Ultra PEG wine racks used are double deep to maximize the storage capacity of the room.
To keep the wines safe for many years to come, they installed one of our wine cooling units on the left wall.

Wine Cellar SpecialistsThis photo shows the elegant custom wine display built under the stairs in Dallas. The steps of the stairs were made from bamboo with gray steel beams.
The door and walls were made from glass to achieve a modern appeal.

Wineware Racks and Accessories LtdWine racking under the stairs for a private home in Hertfordshire, UK. The client wanted some easy access wine storage under the stairs, we provided a combination of individual bottle racking and storage cubes made from solid oak. The area in total is now home to over 250 bottles of wine.
Striking Kitchen & Bath by BellA showroom display of rustic wine bar with Woodland Patina Oak Rustic Farmstead cabinets with Berenson Rhapsody weathered nickel hardware and Uba Tuba granite countertop with tuscan finish and chiseled edges. A pedestal pub table made from reclaimed barn wood and a mulit light pendant complete the room. The flooring is 8"x36" Patina Cottonwood wood plank ceramic tiles.
