From 2020 to 2022 we had the opportunity to work with this wonderful client building in Altadore. We were so fortunate to help them build their family dream home. They wanted to add some fun pops of color and make it their own. So we implemented green and blue tiles into the bathrooms. The kitchen is extremely fashion forward with open shelves on either side of the hoodfan, and the wooden handles throughout. There are nodes to mid century modern in this home that give it a classic look. Our favorite details are the stair handrail, and the natural flagstone fireplace. The fun, cozy upper hall reading area is a reader’s paradise. This home is both stylish and perfect for a young busy family.
OnePlan
One of our more unusual projects, helping two budding interior design enthusiasts to create a bar in their garage with a utility area at the rear with boiler and laundry items and a sink... OnePlan was happy to help and guide with the space planning - but the amazing decor was all down to the clients, who sourced furnishings and chose the decor themselves - it's worthy of a visit from Jay Gatsby himself! They are happy for me to share these finished pics - and I'm absolutely delighted to do so!

Turned feet give a furniture feel to this cabinetry that serves as a dry bar or coffee station. The storage is highlighted by glass doors, perfect for stemware and crystal.

Behind the pocket door is a grilling/meat prep station. Our client loves to grill and needed a space for all of the things that go along with it. Richard created the grill cave/ meat room so that it could be easily accessible but not always in your face.

A custom wet bar is hidden by a sliding barn door off the home's main level living room.

This beverage center is located adjacent to the kitchen and joint living area composed of greys, whites and blue accents. Our main focus was to create a space that would grab people’s attention, and be a feature of the kitchen. The cabinet color is a rich blue (amalfi) that creates a moody, elegant, and sleek atmosphere for the perfect cocktail hour.
This client is one who is not afraid to add sparkle, use fun patterns, and design with bold colors. For that added fun design we utilized glass Vihara tile in a iridescent finish along the back wall and behind the floating shelves. The cabinets with glass doors also have a wood mullion for an added accent. This gave our client a space to feature his beautiful collection of specialty glassware. The quilted hardware in a polished chrome finish adds that extra sparkle element to the design. This design maximizes storage space with a lazy susan in the corner, and pull-out cabinet organizers for beverages, spirits, and utensils.

A spare room transforms into an office and wine storage/bar. The textured material gives the space a rustic modern style that reflects the mountain rang living lifestyle. The style is carried out from the bar to the office desk and the custom cabinets showcase the wine collection and decor while hiding the clutter.
Gayler Design Build
For entertaining at home, and with the client being a bit of a mixologist, we designed a custom bar area in the corner that features dark navy cabinetry with walnut countertops, a gorgeous handmade glass tile backsplash, wine fridge, and concealed ice maker. The brass wire mesh inserts on select cabinet doors add glitz and glamour to the entertainment nook and make the homeowners want to break out their best barware and celebrate.

Our client loves to grill and do all things related to it so a must have on his list was a steak ager. He chose the Steakager Pro 40 and it has worked like a charm!
