For the kitchen we designed bespoke cabinetry to fit the galley style and maximise the use of space to best effect. Love the soft blue colour and clean lines of the shaker style cabinetry, paired with warming brass fittings and lighting. Cette chartreuse a subi de grosses modifications : à commencer par la suppression d'un pilier porteur (avec pose d'un IPN) et la reprise des faux plafonds pour faire apparaitre les poutres. Le sol a également été modifié avec la pose d'un nouveau parquet et les murs en briques et galets (qui avait été cachés derrière des doublages) ont été rénovés. Il fallait absolument regagner en espace et en luminosité (point noir typique de ces maisons en fond de cour entre des immeubles). Pour lier les différents espaces de vis, un grand meuble en semi sur-mesure court tout le long du rez-de-chaussée changeant de fonction au fil du mur : d'abord meuble tv, puis étagères, puis cuisine, puis bureau. Pour ce projet, j'ai eu la chance de collaborer avec l'architecte Jean-Louis d'Esparbès qui s'est occupé de la partie structure du projet.

An update to the existing kitchen, replacing the tired doors with fresh powder blue fronts. A line of bold tiles and open shelving adds a hit of colour, pattern and texture to the fresh, clean space.

This stunning Coastal Inspired Kitchen is located in a Garden House at the rear of a large victorian in Newcastle County Down. The homeowners built the property for when their children return home from the Mainland Uk during the holidays, and other visiting friends and family. The stunning two story lodge has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with wood burning stove, a utility room, and dining area off this kitchen. Only the best materials and finishes were used in the kitchen including Quartz, Painted Wood, American Oak and Nickel. The custom palette has a subtle but rich coastal look, in smooth painted Cadet Blue & Porcelain. The compact kitchen still manages to house a fridge freezer, larder, pullout bins, dishwasher and other pullout storage systems. There's even a compact mobile island that will double as a drinks trolley for sunny summer barbeques. Visually the space looks larger with clever tricks such as a white induction hob, integrated cooker hood, undermount quartz sink, bench seating and even a 4in1 boiling water tap, alleviating the need for a kettle, or water filter jug. The overall space is both timeless and elegant.

Our Country Mix Tumbled Travertine has been left unfilled in this kitchen, creating a naturally weathered appearance.
