La cucina è stata disegnata su misura con materiali che richiamano alla natura e alla contemporaneità. Il legno rovere è stato utilizzato nell'isola e nell'alzatina per creare un legame con il pavimento e per creare una continuità materica. Il top e le ante bianche, invece, sono in Fenix NTM, una nuova nanotecnologia di altissima qualità, progettata da Arpa, con caratteristiche uniche come la riparabilità termica dei micrograffi superficiali e la resistenza al calore secco.

We added a kitchen extension with skylights to the roof bringing natural light into the kitchen, making the kitchen brighter and more inviting.

The use of handleless doors and features such as the low bench area with open shelves, beside the new picture window, combines practicality with stylish elegance. To keep the space clutter free, áine came up with an ingenious solution. ‘In one corner we designed an appliance nook where kitchen items such as the kettle, toaster, mixers, etc. can be stored. Above this we put a mini larder, finished with bi-folding doors for ease of access. This area is well lit with task lighting. In keeping with the contemporary theme we used contrasting colours, a combination of light grey on the main wall and Maura chose dark navy blue for the island unit which was custom sprayed.

The custom cabinetry, adorned with fine carvings, and the neutral cream tones with gold accents create a sophisticated and warm atmosphere. The centerpiece is the grand island, crowned by a stunning coffered ceiling that adds both grandeur and symmetry to the space. A classic kitchen like this offers not only aesthetic beauty but also a lasting appeal, blending functionality with an opulent design that enhances any home.

In die Wand wurden hinter weißen, grifflosen Fronten Schränke eingelassen, in denen neben Stauraumfächern auch Elektrogeräte ihren Platz finden. Prägnant heben sich die schwarzen Elektrogeräte auf halber Höhe von der weißen Front ab, die von oben mit LED-Strahlern beleuchtet wird. Matt-glänzend wirkt auch die Oberfläche der Kücheninsel im gleichen Stil, wodurch ein harmonisches und modernes Gesamtbild entsteht.

In questo progetto è stato scelto di non utilizzare colori e materiali convenzionali, ma di dare carattere puntando ad abbinamenti di contrasto. La cucina, realizzata su misura, è interamente laccata opaco Sikkens, mentre il top è in Paperstone, un materiale innovativo ricavato da carta riciclata al 100%. L'isola è stata resa più leggera grazie alla struttura in ferro verniciata a polvere sulla quale è collocata, creando anche uno snack e lo spazio per alloggiare degli sgabelli.
