A contemporary holiday home located on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula featuring rammed earth walls, timber lined ceilings and flagstone floors. This home incorporates strong, natural elements and the joinery throughout features custom, stained oak timber cabinetry and natural limestone benchtops. With a nod to the mid century modern era and a balance of natural, warm elements this home displays a uniquely Australian design style. This home is a cocoon like sanctuary for rejuvenation and relaxation with all the modern conveniences one could wish for thoughtfully integrated.

Bow Cabin, nestled in the enchanting forests of Washington State, stands as an architecturally refined retreat designed for a seamless integration with nature. Embracing a timeless gable form encased with charred timber, the cabin pays homage to traditional craftsmanship while offering a contemporary aesthetic that harmonizes with the surrounding forest. The indoor suspended fireplace and outdoor shower accentuate the connection with nature, creating an immersive experience. As the entrance to the existing victorian cottage is very close to a road this entrance was created on the side of the property for safety. The old cottage had low ceilings and small rooms and the decor needed to flow through into this space. Storage was essential as well as seating as this entrance is also a boot room. Mirrors helped bounce light around and hops added to help disguise the higher ceiling rooms. Multi-coloured tiles with lots of shades and movement help disguise dog footprints. Plants flow throughout the extension.

Les clients ont sollicité mes services lors de la construction de leur maison. Ils avaient déjà effectués quelques réservations de mobilier dans un magasin spécialisé local mais souhaitaient être confortés dans leurs choix. Ma mission de coaching déco a consisté à les conseiller sur ces choix, réaliser des planches d'ambiance pour compléter la liste d'achats ainsi que des planches de localisations pour les couleurs et papiers peints. Espaces concernés: entrée, séjour, chambre parentale et l'étage. Préconisations sous formes de planches d'ambiances avec références shopping (couleurs de peinture et papiers peints, luminaires, meubles, décoration). Suggestions de placards sur mesure et leurs cahiers techniques. Réalisation d'un book déco.

Ingresso signorile con soffitti alti decorati da profilo nero su fondo ocra rosato. Il pavimento in esagonette di cotto risaliva all'inizio del secolo scorso, come il palazzo degli anni '20 del 900. ricreare una decorazione raffinata ma che non stonasse è stata la priorità in questo progetto. Le porte erano in noce marrone e le abbiamo dipinte di nero opaco. il risultato finale è un ambiente ricercato e di carattere che si sposa perfettamente con le personalità marcate dei due colti Committenti.

Neubau / Eingangsbau / Garage / Doppelgarage / PROJEKT M.S.M.R. Der Wunsch des Auftraggebers war, die vorhandene Planung einer herkömmlichen Standard-Doppelgarage für ein traditionelles Wohnhaus im oberbayerischen Stil architektonisch anspruchsvoll zu überarbeiten. Entstanden ist ein Multifunktionsbau, welcher durch zeitgenössische Architektur einen repräsentativen Eingangsbereich mit Doppelgarage, Gartenschuppen und dem bestehenden, traditionellen Wohnhaus verbindet. Das am Wohnhaus seinerzeit sichtbar verwendete Holz für Fenster, Fensterläden und Fassadenverschalung wurde für den Eingangsbau sowohl für die Konstruktion, als auch für die Fassade verwendet und verbindet somit „Bestehendes“ mit „Neuem“. Der neue Eingangsbau friedet das Grundstück Richtung Siedlungsstraße ein. So entsteht ein intimer Gartenbereich, was einen zusätzlichen enormen Mehrwert für die Bewohner darstellt.

An intriguing hidden gem in the heart of the Clifton project, behind our famous Narnia doors, is the bespoke boot room. When looking at the row of kitchen cabinetry, you would never have guessed there was a practical boot room behind it. Our refined, classic profile of the Lay-On Shaker is met with the deep red paint of Mylands Hugenot, whilst the depth is continued through the antique brass Corston Milliner & Mews hooks and a solid oak bench top. Other features include the integrated lighting, designed to illuminate the space for everyday use, and the solid oak open shelf is perfect for extra storage.
