This lovely Victorian house in Battersea was tired and dated before we opened it up and reconfigured the layout. We added a full width extension with Crittal doors to create an open plan kitchen/diner/play area for the family, and added a handsome deVOL shaker kitchen.

Mes clients voulaient une entrée cossue, mais aussi apporter de la fluidité à leur espace de vie, désenclaver et moderniser la cuisine et bénéficier d’une pièce à vivre conviviale pouvant recevoir de nombreux invités. L'entrée volontairement très sombre agis, comme un sas entre espace publique et privé vous plonge dans une atmosphère bleu. qui joue le contraste avec les pièces adjacente très claire et lumineuse. Ici j'au dessiné un meuble sur mesure afin d'optimisé l'espace de rangement, un meuble réalisé en MDF peint de la couleur des murs. Photo : Léandre Chéron

Restoring 100 years old plus door and wooden sash windows is a big task. It requires skill, knowledge, good product use, and some specialist training. As a passionate owner and operator at Mi Decor, I just love this type of work. it is touching history and making this work lats for a generation. From sanding, wood, and masonry repair to epoxy resin installation and hand-painted finish in high gloss.

Entrée peinte en bleu foncé, murs et plafond, sièges et tapis rouge bordeaux , vitraux en couleurs vert et jaune,

Le projet consistait à retravailler l'entrée pour apporter des rangements supplémentaires et de la clarté à cet espace. Nous avons donc ouvert l'entrée sur l'espace séjour en ajoutant une verrière en bois pour créer une séparation symbolique tout en apportant de la lumière naturelle. Nous avons choisi la couleur bleue pour donner une véritable identité et du cachet à l'entrée. Les portes de placard du dressing sont elles aussi bleues pour harmoniser et créer en véritable ensemble.

Nel lungo corridoio è stato ricavato un piccolo ingresso separato che ospita una mensola in legno di recupero e alcuni appendini vintage in bronzo con piccole incisioni femminili. La porta originale degli anni '40 è stata "annullata" tinteggiandola con uno smalto satinato come le pareti.
