This lovely Victorian house in Battersea was tired and dated before we opened it up and reconfigured the layout. We added a full width extension with Crittal doors to create an open plan kitchen/diner/play area for the family, and added a handsome deVOL shaker kitchen.

Winner of the 2011 Queensland Lighting Design Awards. The residence, located on Queensland’s Gold Coast, is a Lightwave design which was completed in mid 2011. The project was an intensive collaboration with the client, the craftsman and contractor Nic Bruin, Lightwave and the entire project team. Design solutions were centred on functional responses to client needs, climate and the site characteristics, with intent to develop an Australian subtropical aesthetic.
