Kristen Elizabeth DesignThis family loves classic mid century design. We listened, and brought balance. Throughout the design, we conversed about a solution to the existing fireplace. Over time, we realized there was no solution needed. It is perfect as it is. It is quirky and fun, just like the owners. It is a conversation piece. We added rich color and texture in an adjoining room to balance the strength of the stone hearth . Purples, blues and greens find their way throughout the home adding cheer and whimsy. Beautifully sourced artwork compliments from the high end to the hand made. Every room has a special touch to reflect the family’s love of art, color and comfort.
Labra Design BuildThis custom built-in entertainment center features white shaker cabinetry accented by white oak shelves with integrated lighting and brass hardware. The electronics are contained in the lower door cabinets with select items like the wifi router out on the countertop on the left side and a Sonos sound bar in the center under the TV. The TV is mounted on the back panel and wires are in a chase down to the lower cabinet. The side fillers go down to the floor to give the wall baseboards a clean surface to end against.
Moss Yaw Design studiolocated just off the kitchen and front entry, the new den is the ideal space for watching television and gathering, with contemporary furniture and modern decor that updates the existing traditional white wood paneling
Niche InteriorsThe media room features a wool sectional and a pair of vintage Milo Baughman armchairs reupholstered in a snappy green velvet. All upholstered items were made with natural latex cushions wrapped in organic wool in order to eliminate harmful chemicals for our eco and health conscious clients (who were passionate about green interior design). An oversized table functions as a desk or a serving table when our clients entertain large parties.

Famaliving San DiegoThe Moon power reclining chair causes attraction at first sight, and you will love it once you try it. This recliner really embodies the concept of relaxation due to its design that's different than everything else on the market. The Moon is a custom made piece of furniture crafted by the world-renowned Spanish manufacturer Famaliving. This reclining chair has a unique, rounded shape with large oversized arm pillows that will help achieve the ultimate in relaxation. The Moon can come in a variety of colorful and patterned fabrics, including leather, that will really add a unique look to any space. Unlike most recliners, the moon features the 3 main keys to a recliner: Rocking motion, 360 degree rotation, and reclining capability. This recliner features a powered reclining mechanism that allows you to adjust your seat with a touch of a button. The frame of the Moon is crafted from pine wood and MDF construction making it very durable. All Fama products use a webbing system for suspension and support instead of the old spring design that will sag over time. Attached to the bottom is a circular metal base in a black finish that not only allows the 360 degree rotation, but also for it to maintain its low profile look.

Collaborative Interior DesignWe took advantage of the double volume ceiling height in the living room and added millwork to the stone fireplace, a reclaimed wood beam and a gorgeous, chandelier. The sliding doors lead out to the sundeck and the lake beyond. TV's mounted above fireplaces tend to be a little high for comfortable viewing from the sofa, so this tv is mounted on a pull down bracket for use when the fireplace is not turned on. Floating white oak shelves replaced upper cabinets above the bar area.
