Pu'uwai Design & ConstructionThis breathtaking kitchen was designed for entertaining. The large kitchen island is teak and features a Brittanicca Cambria countertop with a flawless waterfall edge. The 48" gas wolf range is practically a work of art framed by a modern stainless steel range hood and by the quartz panels that meld seamlessly with the wood paneling through out the great room. The modern white cabinets are punctuated with the use of built-in custom gold hardware. The vaulted ceilings create an airy and bright space which is complimented by the use of glass pendants above the bar. The gray porcelain tile flooring used through out the home flows outside to the lanai and entry to punctuate the indoor outdoor design.
Audry Cordero, NKBA at Design Studio WestThis beautiful kitchen is perfect for friends and family to gather around, cook meals together, or to simply enjoy an afternoon of baking with the kids. The large central island has plenty of storage including a mixer lift, a microwave drawer, and trash/recycle bins. Easy maintenance and kid friendly with plenty of storage were on top of our list.
Cabinets: Sollera Cabinets, Custom Colors
Boheen & CoWe were called to update a kitchen that had not been touched since the 1950's. It needed some serious modernization with new appliances and lighting as a start. The most meaningful change was to open up the kitchen to the rest of the house. We opened up the wall that ran where the sink currently is. The homeowner wanted a fresh, light, "Old Florida" feel. We created this design by layering in light blues, grays, and natural elements of stone and wood. To keep it feeling light and clean, Stainless Steel is used for all the metal finishes.
Lisa & LeroyKnowing that grandkids come to visit, we added a movable dining table for the crafters, bakers, and future chefs. With an optional leaf insert, the table can be moved away from the island to create a dining space for the whole family.
Waterview KitchensGorgeous all blue kitchen cabinetry featuring brass and gold accents on hood, pendant lights and cabinetry hardware. The stunning intracoastal waterway views and sparkling turquoise water add more beauty to this fabulous kitchen.
Angie Keyes CKBDThis Condo has been in the family since it was first built. And it was in desperate need of being renovated. The kitchen was isolated from the rest of the condo. The laundry space was an old pantry that was converted. We needed to open up the kitchen to living space to make the space feel larger. By changing the entrance to the first guest bedroom and turn in a den with a wonderful walk in owners closet.
Then we removed the old owners closet, adding that space to the guest bath to allow us to make the shower bigger. In addition giving the vanity more space.
The rest of the condo was updated. The master bath again was tight, but by removing walls and changing door swings we were able to make it functional and beautiful all that the same time.
Design Studio WestTestimonial:We loved working with design studio west. We renovated our galley style kitchen and added a deck and outdoor shower. It’s been a few years and I wouldn’t change a thing about the whole project! Audry is the best! She came up with wonderful ideas and solutions in our somewhat small kitchen. Everyone at DSW listened to our input and ideas, at all stages of the process. Doug was our project manager, and he was excellent as well. Nancy Dyer DesignsThis bright new coastal kitchen was part of a remodel project in a dated condominium. The owner chose wood looking tile floors throughout. A large, underutilized laundry room was divided in half and a walk-in pantry was created next to the kitchen. Because space was at a premium, a sliding barn door was used. We chose a more coastal looking louvered door. The cabinets originally were light oak which we had painted. The aqua glass subway tile adds a translucent water affect and the Cambria countertops finish the look with a high degree of sparkle.
Constructive Design ServicesMahogany crown, island top, and light rail tie in with the Eastlake Victorian molding that was taken a part from a bedroom set. Hand carved seahorses adorn the upper cabinets.
