DecorbuddiWe chose a beautiful inky blue for this London Living room to feel fresh in the daytime when the sun streams in and cozy in the evening when it would otherwise feel quite cold. The colour also complements the original fireplace tiles.
We took the colour across the walls and woodwork, including the alcoves, and skirting boards, to create a perfect seamless finish. Balanced by the white floor, shutters and lampshade there is just enough light to keep it uplifting and atmospheric.
The final additions were a complementary green velvet sofa, luxurious touches of gold and brass and a glass table and mirror to make the room sparkle by bouncing the light from the metallic finishes across the glass and onto the mirror
Vignette InteriorsEdwardian living room transformed into a statement room. A deep blue colour was used from skirting to ceiling to create a dramatic, cocooning feel. The bespoke fireplace adds to the modern period look.
down2earth Interior Design, LLC.The original wood paneling and coffered ceiling in the living room was gorgeous, but the hero of the room was the brass and glass light fixture that the previous owner installed. We created a seating area around it with comfy chairs perfectly placed for conversation. Being eco-minded in our approach, we love to re-use items whenever possible. The nesting tables and pale blue storage cabinet are from our client’s previous home, which we also had the privilege to decorate. We supplemented these existing pieces with a new rug, pillow and throw blanket to infuse the space with personality and link the colors of the room together.

Garrett InteriorsThis project was a one room makeover challenge where the sofa and recliner were existing in the space already and we had to configure and work around the existing furniture. For the design of this space I wanted for the space to feel colorful and modern while still being able to maintain a level of comfort and welcomeness.
Elizabeth Hall Designs, LLCA blue shag rug adds a nice pop of color in this neutral space. Blue tones are found throughout the room to add dimension.
Aubrey CostelloSalvaged barn wood was transformed into these rustic double sliding barn doors that separate the transition into the master suite.
