Backsplash with travertine tile
In this photo you can see the location of the six-burner cooktop. The hood features decorative corbels which match the corbels on the custom built hutch in the adjacent dining area. On the backsplash, we used a honed travertine in a subway tile pattern. The color is Mediterranean Ivory. To provide relief, we accented the backsplash intermittently with oil rubbed bronze deco tiles.
