Big Fir Circle Kitchen Remodel
The client was looking for ways to open the kitchen to the dining room and living room. To do this a load bearing wall separating the kitchen from the dining room had to be removed. Apart of the redesign was not to have any beam visible to give the impression that a wall had existed. The original design of the kitchen was a galley style that had a peninsula with upper cabinets coming off the outside wall between the two windows. The ceiling in the kitchen was a drop down with fluorescent lighting. The one thing the client wanted was a piece of sheet metal attached to the wall for photos to be displayed which i'm sure has a lot more photos on it by now.
