Visbeen ArchitectsDesigned with an open floor plan and layered outdoor spaces, the Onaway is a perfect cottage for narrow lakefront lots. The exterior features elements from both the Shingle and Craftsman architectural movements, creating a warm cottage feel. An open main level skillfully disguises this narrow home by using furniture arrangements and low built-ins to define each spaces’ perimeter. Every room has a view to each other as well as a view of the lake. The cottage feel of this home’s exterior is carried inside with a neutral, crisp white, and blue nautical themed palette. The kitchen features natural wood cabinetry and a long island capped by a pub height table with chairs. Above the garage, and separate from the main house, is a series of spaces for plenty of guests to spend the night. The symmetrical bunk room features custom staircases to the top bunks with drawers built in. The best views of the lakefront are found on the master bedrooms private deck, to the rear of the main house. The open floor plan continues downstairs with two large gathering spaces opening up to an outdoor covered patio complete with custom grill pit.
Masterpiece Design GroupThe modern style furniture complimented with accents of wood pieces creates a fun and organic vibe throughout the space. In addition, we added wood trim to the coffered ceiling to create warmth and balance. The pops of color adds a playfulness to the space as well!
RoomService 360Sunset Italian Sectional Sofa is a particularly eye-catching seating solution featuring dynamically shaped subtle pieces that reward close attention with winsome allure and accommodating comfort. Manufactured in Italy by Gamma Arredamenti, Sunset Leather Sectional Sofa snaps to attention by converting its seat depth to lounging mode and allowing everyone to relax in its stylistically crisp dimensions.
Classic Kitchens, Etc.The before and after of this space is so satisfying. When you walked through the front door, the kitchen was closed off behind a wall that spanned the entire area. We removed that wall, and opened up the space to have a more inviting feel. Removing that wall meant we lessened the pantry and cupboard space, so we corrected that with an oversized island including seating, a peninsula with a beverage station, and a display cabinet utilized for stemware, to make up for that. Slab doors made with white oak and stained in a graphite color are the centerpiece of the area. Utilizing various colors of gold, including brushed gold, honey bronze, and champaign bronze we were able to compliment both the cabinets, and the stainless steel appliances A few great cabinet extras include an oversized spice roll out, a pantry roll out, a cookie sheet cabinet, and a functional blind corner pull out in the corner cabinet. Topping the cabinets is a beautiful quartz countertop that has the look and feel of marble. The appliances are all modern and sizable, with a 36” range and hood, a new convection speed oven, and a dual side by side 24” fridge, with a 18” freezer. The sink, made by Kohler, is an apron front single bowl style, with 2 faucets, a soap dispenser, and a push button garbage disposal switch built in. Outside of this amazing new kitchen, we also updated the entertainment center in the family room, with cabinetry to match the kitchen, and a Bardiglio marble surrounding, and we added a 72” aesthetic fireplace accent. The flooring throughout the space was updated using a “greige” commercially rated 16”x32” porcelain tile, then finished with an acrylic grout.

Melanie Roy DesignMelanie's inspiration for this luxurious room was an artfully crafted Tresserra Bolero pool table that was built for recreation with incredible style and function, exemplifying the sophisticated and sporty Hampton resident. Our firm created a glamorous entertainment space where family and friends can get away and spend time together playing backgammon, chess, billiards and even a simple game of tic tac toe. A Guy Stanley Monopoly board painting greets you as you enter the room, a nod to the past. We used grass cloth wallpaper to create warmth, intimacy and texture, bringing a bit of nature into the space. The deep velvet custom sofa sits in front of a custom mirrored media cabinet, which sits below a large TV. The cabinet and TV are flanked by Carl Springer stools from Todd Merrill with glamorous Bakalowitz inspired sconces above. The Arteriors Indogene chandelier illuminates the metallic hand painted ceiling, which we designed to resemble the star filled Hamptons sky. A Jane Martin diptique ties in the room's color palette and is complemented by the whimsical sculptures that stand on either side. One ironically named "Road Runner" is also a reference to the past. A yellow lollipop sculpture by Desirez Obtain Cherish sits adjacent to an art-inspired fireplace.
