Grace Interior Design llcThe Family Room received a completely new upscale feeling and functionality simply by removing the window bench, adding doors and a cornice to the old bookcases, wool carpet, harmonious new paint colors, and Scandinavian Stressless recliners from Danish Furniture of Colorado.
Teakwood Builders, Inc.Tailor-made wood box beams were created for this ceiling to add depth, warmth and interest to the open expanse. The ceiling geometry echoes the simplicity of the Shaker-style cabinetry in the neighboring kitchen.

Master Stone Design, LLCThis charming fireplace provides the foundation for this cozy living room area. This is just a classic look for a stone fireplace. I love it when the fireplace is boxed out like this, it provides it with some real meat on the bones.
This exact design is a custom creation by Mark Correll. You'll notice the framed in look to the fireplace and the stepping out at the mantle area. Not sure if this install included lighting but typically we will run small spots lights into the little ares under the mantle so the fireplace can be lit up even without a fire... perfect for the summer months.
This stone application is done with a grout joint, it mixes in so well this this stone you barely even notice it and the stone stands out. It's a classic look for a traditional room, beautiful!
The Buckingham GroupThe ceiling of the family room was raised to ten feet. A double French Vault ceiling was created and outlined by Knotty Alder decorative beams. A cast stone fireplace from Stone Legends of Dallas Texas created a fireplace focal point.
Pineapple House Interior DesignIn the family room, designers replace the vaulted ceiling with a 13 foot high coffered ceiling. They configure the TV over the mantel in a dark shaft so it can disappear visually. Since pets are kept in this area, they replace two French door sets with stack-back doors, which produces a 12’ opening. When open, this unites the family room with the screen porch, enabling indoor/outdoor living. It enlarges the pet’s territory and helps keep the room fresh.
